Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions form the basis of Enrich Travel & Lifestyle Programme. They are intended to protect both Member and the Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. It is the Member's responsibility to read and understand them thoroughly.
These Terms and Conditions are effective as at the date specified above and may be amended by Malaysia Airlines from time to time. The current Terms and Conditions are those available at this website.
Every Member is bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Account/Enrich Account
An Account is created when an individual is accepted as a Member of the Enrich programme. The Account will be maintained for as long as the individual remains an Enrich Member in good standing. The Account will be used for the purpose of tracking the Enrich Member's Activity in the programme and the Points balance the individual currently maintains.
Activity
An Activity refers to an Enrich Member's interaction with Malaysia Airlines or an Enrich Partner in which Enrich Points are accrued or redeemed.
Airline Partner
An airline (other than oneworld Airline) that participates in the Enrich programme where Member may earn and redeem Enrich Points for award tickets.
Bonus Points
Bonus Points may be offered for using qualifying products and services of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Partners. Bonus Points are offered for a defined period of time and may not be offered to all Enrich Member in all locations. Bonus Points do not count towards Elite Tier Status qualification but may be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.
Codeshare Flight
Flight that has an airline code or number of one airline on the ticket, but operated by another airline.
Dynamic Redemption
The number of Points to redeem a flight according to respective fare class available on that day.
Elite Points
Elite Points are used to track an Enrich Member's qualification towards Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and Enrich Platinum Tier Status. Elite Points shall ONLY be earned on Malaysia Airlines, MASwings, Firefly and oneworld Airlines qualifying fares on Economy, Premium Economy, Business and Business Suite. Elite Points may not be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.
Elite Tier Bonus Points
Elite Tier Bonus Points can only be accrued by Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and Enrich Platinum Member.
Elite Tier Bonus Points are accrued based on a Malaysia Airlines flight activity as defined by Enrich.
Elite Tier Bonus Points may be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards.
Elite Tier Bonus Points do not count towards Elite Tier Status qualification.
Elite Tier Status
The generic term used to refer to Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and/or Enrich Platinum status.
Enrich
Loyalty and Frequent Flyer Programme operated by Malaysia Airlines.
Enrich Award
The generic term used to refer to Travel Award and Lifestyle Award available for redemption from the Enrich programme.
Enrich Online
A self-service portal for Enrich Members to view their account and status, perform redemption and other online services.
Enrich Partner
An Enrich Partner is a legal entity with whom Enrich has an agreement that allows Enrich Member to accrue and/or redeem Enrich Points with as defined by Enrich from time to time.
Enrich Points
Enrich Points are the currency of the Enrich programme, and are the Points that may be used to redeem for Enrich Awards. Enrich Member may accrue Enrich Points when they use the qualifying services or products of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines, Airline Partners or an Enrich Non– Airline Partner.
Enrich Upgrade
An upgrade redemption made by Member together where ‘Enrich Points’ is IN ADDITION to the fare paid for a revenue ticket purchased and EXCLUDES carrier-related charges, taxes, airport charges and non-related carrier charges that is payable at the airport or at the time of ticket issuance or reissuance, all of which shall be borne by Member.
Fare Based Accrual
Enrich Points earn on base fare and based on the commercial fare paid and carrier related charges paid for a ticket for travel on Malaysia Airlines operated flights, MASwings and Firefly.
Fare Condition
Conditions that determine the price and rules of an air ticket, that is, whether a ticket is refundable or non-refundable or if additional charges will be incurred for date and routing changes.
Full Points Travel Award
A Full Points Travel Award redemption ticket means the Travel Award is redeemed fully in Points excluding applicable taxes and surcharges. A Full Points Travel Award can be redeemed on flights operated by Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines or Airline Partner.
Lifestyle Award
An Award redeemed for products and/or services of Enrich Non-Air Lifestyle Partners’. Lifestyle Award follow the Terms and Conditions of the respective non-air partner.
Platinum Enrich Points
Enrich Points earned only during Platinum tier status will not expire even if member is reclassified to a lower tier status.
Malaysia Airlines
Malaysia Airlines Berhad (Company No. 1116944-X) having its registered office at 1st Floor, Administration Building, Southern Support Zone, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, 64000 Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia) and its permitted assigns and successors.
Malaysia Airlines Flights
Flights operated and marketed by Malaysia Airlines (excluding code share flights).
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award means a Full Points or Points + Cash flight redemption booking and ticket made on flights operated solely by Malaysia Airlines, MASwings and Firefly.
Member / Enrich Member
A member of the Enrich Frequent Flyer Programme
Membership Tier
The generic term used to refer to members who hold Enrich Blue, Enrich Silver, Enrich Gold and/or Enrich Platinum status.
Mileage Accrual Table
A chart displaying award Points accrue based on the booking class and distance on the air-ticket purchased.
Non–Airline Partner
A legal entity, other than an airline, that participates in the Enrich programme where Member may earn Enrich Points. Non–Airline Partners are included but are not limited to banks, credit/charge cards, hotels, telecommunications service providers, car rental companies and retail establishments.
oneworld Airline
Airlines and affiliates that are members of the oneworld Alliance.
oneworld Minimum Sector Rules
Eligibility for qualification and re-qualification to Enrich Elite Tier Status.
Platinum Companion
A companion is the legal spouse (husband or wife), the parent (father or mother), the sibling (brother or sister) or the one (01) child (son or daughter) children of the Principal Platinum Member.
Points + Cash Travel Award
A Points + Cash Travel Award redemption ticket means the Travel Award is redeemed with a combination of Points and money in terms of cash or credit card, wherever applicable. A Points + Cash Travel Award can be redeemed on flights operated by Malaysia Airlines.
Revenue Ticket
Commercial flight ticket purchased by cash or credit card.
Sales and Services Tax (SST)
SST is Sales and Services Tax in Malaysia. SST will be applicable on all domestic flights except Rural Area Service, for flight ticket sold on/after 1 March 2024 and for travel on/after 1 March 2024 at a rate of 8%.
Note: Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) will impose only the ‘Service Tax’ (ST). Tax code ‘D8’ will be used on the ticket.
Ticketed Point Mileage (TPM)
Distance between two cities, used in airline fare calculations regardless of the airports used.
Travel Award
An Award ticket redeemed for travel on Malaysia Airlines (Full Points or Points + Cash), oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners on applicable Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, Business Class and Business Suite seats. Travel Award follow the Terms and Conditions of the airline providing carriage.
Upgrade
A change in class from the class of service that was originally purchased for travel with Malaysia Airlines to one higher class of service .
Upgrade Travel Award
An upgrade Travel Award redeemed from Economy Class to Business Class or Business Suite or Business Class to Business Suite based on respective eligible fare classes. Upgrade Travel Award is only applicable when a qualifying paid ticket is purchased on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights.
1) Enrolment
- Membership in Enrich is free and open to anyone aged two (02) years and above in countries and territories where such programmes are legal. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) years must have evidence of parental or legal guardian consent before enrolment into the programme can be considered.
- Acceptance of membership will be at the sole discretion of Malaysia Airlines. All decisions shall be final and any appeals or requests for membership will not be entertained.
- Corporations and/or other legal entities are not allowed to enrol or be a Member of Enrich.
- An Enrich Member may only maintain one (01) Enrich Account which will serve all business, personal and other needs for such Enrich Member. This account is not transferable.
- Members must register with valid email address. Temporary or disposable email addresses are not allowed for Enrich accounts.
- In the event an Enrich Member is assigned to more than one membership number, the duplicate Account/s will be closed and all valid Enrich Points shall be merged to a single Account in that Enrich Member's name.
- Upon enrolment, an Enrich Member will be accorded the benefits and recognition of an Enrich Blue Member. Malaysia Airlines and Enrich will not entertain any requests for an upgrade to Elite Tier Status if the Enrich Member has not met the set qualifying criteria.
- Enrich Points may be accrued after enrolment in the Enrich programme. New Enrich members may submit an Enrich Points claim for qualifying flights on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights taken within 30 days prior to enrolment. Claims for Enrich Points retroactively for oneworld or Enrich Partner Airlines flight activities and non Malaysia Airlines Partner activities prior to enrolment is strictly not allowed.
- Effective 01 March 2022 , Enrich Members will receive 500 Bonus Enrich Points on their first flight activity on Malaysia Airlines or Firefly pure flights within 12 months from date of enrolment.
- Any taxes imposed by a government or governing body as a result of programme participation shall be the responsibility of the Enrich Member.
2) Membership card
- Newly enrolled Enrich member must download the MH mobile app to access their Digital Card.
- Eligible Member will receive a new Elite Status card upon upgrade or during annual requalification.
- Enrich Card Request for card replacement is available via Enrich Online self-service portal at enrich.malaysiaairlines.com and at Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre or Ticket Offices.
- Enrich Card Request is subject to a processing fee and payable via Enrich Points only.
- Request via Enrich Online.

- Request via Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre,Ticket Offices or via email will incur the following charges.
- The Enrich Card will be delivered to the Member’s registered address within fourteen (14) working days. It is the Member's responsibility to notify Enrich of any late or non-delivery of the Enrich Card within twenty-one (21) working days from date of request.
- In the event of return to sender due to incomplete delivery for any reason, request for re-delivery is subjected to the same processing fee.
- Enrich Card Reissue Request transaction is final and non-refundable.
- Malaysia Airlines reserve the right at our sole discretion to review, cancel and reverse any transaction for any reason including but not limited to issues which have been identified by our credit and fraud control department. Malaysia Airlines also reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Enrich Card Request service or any part thereof with or without notice.

3) Closing your account
- An Account that has thirty-six (36) continuous months of inactivity will be closed automatically.
- An Enrich Member may choose to close their Account at any time with written notice to [email protected]; at which time any Enrich Points and/or Elite Points in the Account will be cancelled.
- An Enrich Member who chooses to close his/her Account may not transfer, donate or give away their Enrich Points and/or Elite Points, Elite Tier Status or benefits they may be entitled to at that time.
- An Account once closed (for any reason) will not be reinstated. Member may re-enrol as a new Member. All activities and Enrich Points in the closed account will not be transferred to the new Enrich account.
- In the event of an Enrich Member's death, the Enrich Member’s Account will be closed.
- Upon receipt of a notification of an Enrich Member's death, the deceased Member’s Account shall be processed to be closed accordingly and the member account status will be classified as ‘Deceased’.
- Enrich may, in its sole discretion, transfer the redeemable Points balance to another Member’s Account of a legal beneficiary or next-of-kin, upon provision of relevant documentation including and not limited to a death certificate, and proof of relationship (such as marriage certificate, children’s’ birth certificate), within six (6) months of date of death.
- In the event such claim is not made within the period, all the Points balance will be forfeited accordingly. Any unused award ticket and/or other reward that are not claimed will be cancelled, and unutilized Points will not be refunded or reinstated.
- Upon receipt of the relevant documentations satisfactory to Enrich, the Enrich Points balance will be processed without any charge or fees on a one-time basis to a single Account only.
- The next of kin is eligible to inherit only the Enrich Points balance from the Deceased member’s account.
- The inherited Enrich Points shall be valid only for three (3) years and will expire at the end of the month in the third year of the transfer from the deceased account.
- Any expired Points in the deceased’s account is forfeited and shall not be eligible for further extension. The inherited Enrich Points shall not be exchangeable for cash. The deceased’s Elite Points and Elite Tier Status or benefits are not transferable.
- Depending on current marital status of the deceased, the next of kin would be in the order of a spouse and children, or parents and siblings. The claim process is based on request received on first-come, first-served basis (meaning first claimant with required documentation will inherit the Points).
- Once the Enrich Points are inherited by the next of kin, it is final. Enrich will not allow any disputes or change request to the inheritance processed in any way whatsoever.
- Upon completion of the transferred Points, the matter shall be deemed as completed and closed.
- This Enrich Invite and Earn Referral Programme (“Referral Programme”) is where existing Enrich member ("Referrer") refer non-Enrich member ("Referee") to enrol into the Enrich programme.
- Referrers must be in good standing of the Enrich Programme to be able participate in the Referral Programme. Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to participate in the Referral Programme as either Referrer or Referee.
- Referrers may participate in this Referral Programme by providing the Referee with their unique Referral Link available upon login into Enrich Portal. The Referrers are to follow the on-screen instructions to refer their friends and family to the Enrich Programme.
- To receive the Referral Bonus, the following conditions must be met:
(a) The Referee must successfully sign up as an Enrich members using the Referral Link provided. For every successful sign-up, both Referrer and Referee will receive an Introductory Referral Bonus of 100 Enrich Points each.
(b) The Referee must make a Qualifying Activity under his/her new Enrich membership account within the Qualifying Activity Period. Upon successful activity, both Referrer and Referee will receive a one-time Activity Referral Bonus of 500 Enrich Points each.
- A Qualifying Activity shall refer to Referee’s first flown flights on pure Malaysia Airlines, Firefly or MA Swings within twelve (12) months from enrolment date. Failure to complete means the Referrer and the Referee will not be entitled to Activity Referral Bonus.
- Each Referrer may refer up to a maximum of ten (10) Referees per calendar year to be entitled for the Referral Bonus. Subsequent enrolment is allowed however both Referrer and Referee are not entitled to the Referral Bonus.
- There is no maximum for Activity Referral Bonus for Referrer provided that the term stated in 4(b) is fulfilled.
- Any Enrich Points accrued through Referral Bonus will be valid for one (1) year from the date on which it is credited into the recipient’s Enrich account. All Enrich Points must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Enrich Programme.
- The participation in Referral Programme is null and void if any one of the following has been established:
- Referrer status in Enrich Programme is not in good standing
- Referral Link is broken or tampered
- Referrer and /or Referee did not meet age requirement
- Referee has an existing Enrich Account
- Any fraudulent or duplicate Enrich Accounts
- Request to merge the original Enrich Account to the newly enrolled account for the purpose of receiving the bonus points under this Referral Programme.
- A Promotion Code is entered during enrolment (except for Referral Promotion Code during special promotions period)
- In the event the Referee has an existing Enrich Account, Enrich reserves the right to disqualify the enrolment and any Enrich Points rewarded to the Referrer and the Referee as Referral Bonus will be forfeited. The new Enrich Account created by the Referee will be merged with his/her existing Enrich Account. An Enrich Member may only maintain one (01) Enrich Account which will serve all business, personal and other needs for such Enrich Member.
- From time to time, Referrers may be offered special Referral Programme promotions with Referral Promotion Code to be used. Such Special Promotions are valid for a limited time and will also entitle the Referrer and/or the Referee promotional Referral Bonus.
- During Special Promotions, the Referee must enter the Referral Promotion Code during enrolment and in some cases completes the task prior to the end date of the Special Promotion period to be entitled to the promotional Referral Bonus.
- Referrers must not engage in spamming or involve in unacceptable unauthorised practices, including creating fake accounts or harassing potential referral sources.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any Referrers from participating in this Program at any time at our sole discretion, including without limitation if he/she does not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions. Enrich may invalidate any potential it deems fraudulent, suspect, or in violation of these Terms.
- By participating in the Referral Program, each participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Enrich Programme Terms and Conditions. Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to modify or amend at any time these Terms and Conditions and/or the methods through which the Referral Bonus are earned.
- An Enrich Member may become a “Sponsor” and nominate other individuals to be a "Nominee".
- The nominated individual must be an Enrich Member with an Enrich Account that is active and in good standing.
- A Sponsor must be above 18 years of age to be eligible to nominate an individual.
- A Nominee must be above 02 years of age to be eligible.
- Proof of identity (copy of NRIC or Passport) is required to register a new Nominee. Nominee will be registered within seven (7) working days upon supporting document verification by Malaysia Airlines.
- A Sponsor may have up to eight (8) active Nominees at any one (1) time. Registration for the first eight (8) Nominees is free of charge.
- Nominees are only eligible to transact Enrich Points Transfer.
- A Sponsor may deactivate or reactivate the Nominee via Enrich Online at no cost. Upon meeting the first eight (8) Nominees, a Sponsor may request to replace a Nominee twice in each calendar year. A Change Service Fee of 2,000 Enrich Points will apply for each replacement request.
- Proof of identity (copy of NRIC or Passport) will be required to register a replacement Nominee. Nominee will be registered within seven (7) working days upon supporting document verification by Malaysia Airlines.
- A Nominee can only have one (1) registered Sponsor at any one (1) time. In the event the nominated individual already has a registered Sponsor, the Sponsor nomination will be rejected.
- Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Nominee service or any part thereof at any time with or without notice.
6) Enrich Always-On Discount
- Enrich Members will enjoy five percent (5%) discount on the full published fare tickets purchased via Malaysia Airlines website https://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/home.html.
- This discount is not applicable for full fare ticket purchased at any Malaysia Airlines Contact Center, Malaysia Airlines Ticket Offices, travel agents or other ground channels.
- This discount is only applicable on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights and ticketed on MH (232) document.
- The discount is only applicable by log in to Enrich Account and enabling the Enrich Discount. Enrich Member who logs in must be one of the travelers to enjoy the discount. If the booking is for someone else, this discount will not apply. Enrich Member must return to ‘Flights Search’ page and proceed without enabling the Enrich Discount.
- If the Enrich Member is a child, the ticket must be purchased with an adult travelling together. This discount is not applicable for infant and child tickets. The normal infant and child fare will apply.
- This discount can be used to purchase only for one-way tickets and round-trip tickets on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights.
- The validity and other ticket conditions will follow the purchased ticket fare rules.
- This discount is not applicable for tickets issued with a combination of Malaysia Airlines and other partner airlines as in connecting flights, codeshare flights (MH4000, MH5000 and MH9000 flight series), MASwings (MH3000 flight series), Firefly, oneworld Member Airlines and Enrich Partner Airlines, charter (MH8000 flight series) and AMAL (Jeddah/Madinah), flights that include segments operated by other airlines and marketed by Malaysia Airlines or Malaysia Airlines operated and marketed by other airlines.
- This discount is not applicable for redemption tickets.
- The discount does not apply to fuel surcharges, booking service charge, taxes/surcharges and ancillary services fee (including prepaid excess baggage and seat selection fee).
- This discount will not apply to already discounted fares (O and Z booking class), special fares, student fares, group fares and other fare types that involve any discount or special rates.
- This discount cannot be used in conjunction with other special offers, such as promo code, online travel expo offers, flash offers, early bird offers, credit card discounts, etc. Enrich Members who used other offers to purchase their tickets may not use this discount on the same tickets.
- The discount fare quoted at the website when booking under the Enrich Always-On Discount is valid at the time it is quoted only. If a booking is delayed or not completed when quoted, the discount fare for the requested itinerary may change and the final fare shown after selecting the flights will apply.
- The fare displayed for Enrich Always-On Discount will have the five percent (5%) discount on the base fare with the taxes/surcharges reflected in total. Please click at ‘Fare Breakdown' to view.
- Enrich Members are encouraged to make an informed comparison between Enrich Always-On Discount and the normal published fares before deciding on the best option for their travel needs. Once Enrich Always-On Discount fare ticket is purchased, it cannot be reverted to a normal published fare where, a promo fare may be offered.
- Any other matters relating to the ticket discount above that have not been mentioned will be processed according to the Malaysia Airlines ticketing rules. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to amend, interpret, or terminate this offer and these conditions of sale at any time without prior notice.
7) Enrich Points Pool
- Effective 15 August 2023, Enrich Points Pool allows Enrich Members to pool their Enrich Points with their nominated family or friends and use pooled Enrich Points for any Enrich redemption activities.
- Enrich Member may become a “Beneficiary” and add other individuals to be a “Contributor”.
- An Enrich Member must be age 18 years old and above to create a Pool and be the Beneficiary. Any Enrich Members aged 02 years old and above may join a Pool as a Contributor.
- An Enrich Member aged below 18 years old must obtain consent from the parent/guardian to join a Pool.
- The Beneficiary must first register the family or friend as a Nominee. Thereafter, the Beneficiary may choose up to eight (8) active Nominees to be added to the Pool as a Contributor. A signed consent form is required to successfully register a Nominee as a Contributor.
- Only the Beneficiary will be eligible to redeem the points contributed by the Contributor(s). Contributor(s) will not be eligible to redeem the points from the Beneficiary account under this Enrich Points Pool.
- The Pool Start Date begins upon successful creation of a new Pool. The Pool created is valid for five (5) years and the Pool End Date will be on the last date of the calendar in the fifth year (i.e., 31 December in the 5th year).
- The Enrich Points pooled to the Beneficiary's account shall expire in accordance with the original expiry date from the Contributor's earn.
- When a Beneficiary adds a Contributor, the Contribution Start Date begins upon successful registration of the new Contributor and the Contribution End Date will be the same date/year as the Pool End Date.
- An Enrich Member can only be in one (1) Active Pool at a time, either as a Beneficiary or as a Contributor. In the event of a nominated individual is already in another Active Pool with another Enrich account, the request to add to Pool will be rejected.
- A Beneficiary may delete the Pool or remove a Contributor from the Pool before the Pool End Date. This action can be performed by the Beneficiary via Enrich Online and non-reversible.
- A Contributor may leave the Pool before the Pool End Date. This action can be performed by the Contributor via Enrich Online. Once a Contributor contributes Enrich Points to a Beneficiary account under the Enrich Points Pool, it cannot be reversed.
- Deleting/Removing/Leaving the Pool has no impact to Nominee relationship with Sponsor. However, deactivating a Nominee will remove the Beneficiary-Contributor relationship in Points Pool. New Pool creation will only be allowed the next day after deletion.
- Beneficiaries who wish to delete their Enrich account, the Beneficiary/Contributor will be removed from any Pool before the Enrich account can be deactivated. Any Enrich Points balance in the Beneficiary’s account will be forfeited upon the deletion. Contributors will not be eligible to claim the Beneficiary’s Enrich Points balance.
- Enrich Points Pool are only applicable to earned Enrich Points. Enrich Points Pool is not applicable to non-earning Enrich Points such as Buy Points, Gift Points, Transfer Points, Inherit Points, Sponsorship Points and not applicable to Elite Points.
- Enrich Points Pool does not apply to earnings of Tier Elite Points. Contributors will not be entitled to a Beneficiary’s top tier status (if any) under this Enrich Points Pool.
- Contribution starts from the Contribution Start Date. Enrich Points earned prior to Contribution Start Date will remain in individual account. Enrich Points earned after the Contribution Start Date will be contributed to Beneficiary account based on the percentage consented by the Contributor. If a change is required on the selected fixed percentage contribution, Enrich Member has to request to remove the Contributor and re-register with a new fixed percentage.
- Beneficiary may delete the Pool any time before the Pool End Date. Enrich Points contributed while Pool was active will remain in Beneficiary account.
- Beneficiary may remove Contributor(s) from Pool any time before the Pool End Date. Enrich Points contributed while Contributor(s) is in the Pool will remain in Beneficiary account.
- Contributor may leave the Pool any time before the Contribution End Date. Enrich Points earned after leaving the Pool will be in the individual account. Enrich Points contributed while in the Pool will remain in Beneficiary account.
- In the event of the Beneficiary’s death, the Beneficiary’s Enrich account will be closed. Upon receipt of a notification of the Beneficiary’s death, the deceased Beneficiary’s account shall be processed to be closed accordingly and the member account status will be classified as ‘Deceased’.
Malaysia Airlines may, in its sole discretion, transfer the redeemable Enrich Points balance to another Enrich Member’s Account of a legal beneficiary or next of kin, upon provision of relevant documentation including and not limited to a death certificate, and proof of relationship (such as marriage certificate, children’s’ birth certificate), within six (6) months of date of death.
Only the next of kin is eligible to inherit the Enrich Points balance from the Deceased Beneficiary’s account. Contributors (if not the next of kin) will not be eligible for any Enrich Points claim from the Beneficiary’s account.

- Malaysia Airlines also reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Enrich Points Pool service or any part thereof with or without notice.
8) Enrich Tier Carry Forward
- Elite Points are accumulated in a calendar year, from 01 January through to the end of the year, 31 December and thereafter reset to zero (0) on 01 January in the new calendar year.
- Effective 01 January 2024 earned Elite Points over and above the required qualification in a year for the renewal or upgrade of tier status are eligible to be carried forward to the next calendar year.
- The carry forward Elite Points is capped at fifty percent (50%) of the requalification requirement as stipulated in the table below:
- The eligibility for Tier Carry Forward will be determined based on the earned Enrich Member’s tier and the credited Elite Points as of 31 December. Enrich Members can view their carried-forward Elite Points by accessing their account in Enrich Online.
- In the event there are any adjustments to the Enrich Member’s tier or credited Elite Points due to missing Enrich Points claim, these adjustments will not be considered for Tier Carry Forward. This means the carry forward Elite Points posted on 01 January will remain final despite any subsequent adjustments. However, these adjustments will affect the upgrading of the Enrich Member not the carry forward Elite Points amount.
- The carry forward Elite Points will be added to the Elite Points earned in the new calendar year to determine the Enrich Member’s tier status.
- Excess Elite Points can be carried forward only once from the current to the next calendar year.
Example:
Enrich status as of 31 December 2023:
- Enrich Member has earned total 55 Elite Points and retain as Silver.
- Enrich Member can carry forward 15 Elite Points in next calendar year of 2024.
Enrich status as of 2024:
1) First flight activity in January 2024.
2) In February 2024, Enrich Member made a claim of flight activity in November 2023 and earned 6 Elite Points.
3) However, the 6 Elite Points is disregarded but the Tier will be upgraded to Gold. Hence, the Enrich Points for November 2023 and January 2024 will be accrued with multiplier 2.0 instead of 1.6.
4) Manual adjustment is required on this flight activity.
- Malaysia Airlines also reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Tier Carry Forward or any part thereof with or without notice.
9) Enrich Mid-Tier Booster
- Enrich Mid-Tier Booster is available for Enrich Members who achieve a certain milestone of cumulative Base Points within their tier.
- These Base Points are earned through various activities such as flying with Malaysia Airlines, oneworld member airlines, partner airlines, converting bank points or other loyalty points to Enrich, or purchasing products and services from Enrich lifestyle partners.
- Enrich Points tracked for Enrich Mid-Tier Booster are Base Points only; Bonus Points are not included.
- Base Points include Enrich Points earned from Air and Non-Air transactions.
- Enrich Points earned from the following activities are not eligible for Enrich Mid-Tier Booster: -
1) Bonus and tier related points will be excluded.
2) The earned Enrich Points from cancelled activities will be excluded.
3) If expired points are extended, they will be excluded.
4) Transfer Points/Points Pool from one account to another will be excluded.
5) Only activities occurring within the current calendar year (based on activity date) will be considered.
- Base Points tracked for Mid-Tier Booster is based on a calendar year (01 January - 31 December) and will be reset to zero (0) on 01 January in the next calendar year.
- Enrich Member will receive the Mid-Tier Booster Reward when the milestone is met within their current tier. In the event Enrich Member meets a higher milestone outside their current tier, Mid-Tier Booster Reward will not be triggered.
Vice versa, Enrich Member of higher tier will only receive the Mid-Tier Booster Reward when the milestone is met within their current tier. In the event, Enrich Member meets the lower milestone outside their current tier, Mid-Tier Booster Reward will not be triggered.
- If there is an Enrich Member’s tier movement within the calendar year i.e. upgrade or downgrade of tier status, the Base Points accumulated shall remain and will unlock the eligible Mid-Tier Booster Reward upon first accrual activity performed under the latest status tier.
- Upon reaching the specified milestone, Enrich Member will unlock an additional Mid-Tier Booster Reward. These may include Enrich Bonus Points, Elite Bonus Points and complimentary Golden Lounge Access e-Voucher as stipulated in the table below :-
- Mid-Tier Booster Reward of Enrich Points and e-Vouchers are valid for one (01) year from the date of issue. Mid-Tier Booster Reward of Elite Points is valid within the same calendar year.
- Malaysia Airlines also reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Enrich Mid-Tier Booster or any part thereof with or without notice.
10) General
- It is the responsibility of the Enrich Member to keep themselves informed and updated on the rules of Enrich including these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of the Programme by the Enrich Member will be deemed as acceptance of the prevailing Terms and Conditions.

- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
1) Validity of Enrich Points
- Enrich Points accrued by Enrich Member is automatically credited to the Enrich Member's Account.
- Enrich Points are valid for the three (03) years from the year it is earned and will expire at the end of the month in the third year.
- It is the Enrich Member’s responsibility to be aware when their Enrich Points will expire. This can be monitored at any time online through Enrich Online account. Enrich Member is advised to redeem their Enrich Points prior to the expiry of their Enrich Points.
- Expired Enrich Points may be extended to one (01) calendar year under the Extend Enrich Points services at a fee determined by Malaysia Airlines as stated in Clause 4 below.
2) Validity of Elite Points
- Eligible Elite Points accrued by Enrich Member is automatically credited to the Enrich Member's Account upon a flight journey completed.
- Elite Points are tracked for the sole purpose of calculating an Enrich Member's qualification towards Elite Tier Status.
- Elite Points may not be used towards the redemption of Enrich Awards nor can they be transferred, extended, purchased, sold or given to another member.
- Elite Points tracked are only valid in the calendar year it is earned and will expire at the end of that year. Elite Points are not accumulative and may not be carried forward into the next calendar year.
3) Account Statement
- Enrich Member can check their account status, points balance, points expiry, tier progress and account statement online via Enrich online Portal.
- A monthly electronic statement summary will be sent to Member at the email address as registered in the Enrich Member’s profile settings.
4) Enrich Points Services
General condition
- Eligible Enrich Member must be in good standing of the Enrich Programme to perform any Enrich Points Services transactions.
- All Enrich Points services is available via Enrich Online self-service portal at https://enrich.malaysiaairlines.com/enrich.html. This service is not available at Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre, Ticket Office or via email.
- Any Enrich Points Services transactions will not count toward Elite Tier Status qualification.
- All Enrich Points Services transactions are final and non-refundable.
- Malaysia Airlines reserve the right at our sole discretion to review, cancel and reverse any transaction for any reason including but not limited to issues which have been identified by our credit and fraud control department. Malaysia Airlines also reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Enrich Points Services or any part thereof with or without notice.
Enrich Buy Points
- Enrich Member may purchase Enrich Points to transact a redemption.
- Enrich Points may be purchased at a fixed rate as provided in the table below. The transaction will by default be processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

- Enrich Points, once purchased, are not transferable, exchangeable or extendable beyond the stated validity.
- Purchase of Enrich Points will expire at the end of the month of the purchase made according to the respective ‘Validity in Months’ stated above.

Enrich Gift Points
- Enrich Points may be purchased as a gift for another eligible Enrich Member.
- Non-Enrich Member must enroll for Enrich Programme to receive Enrich Gift Points.
- Enrich Gift Points may be purchased in blocks of 1,000 Enrich Points at a rate of MYR0.085 per Enrich Point. The transaction will by default be processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

- Enrich Points may be extended at a rate of MYR 0.085 per Enrich Point. The transaction will by default be processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

Enrich Points Reactivation
- Points that have expired can be reactivated within three (03) months from the expired date for an additional validity period of twelve (12) months from the date of transaction. There is no minimum amount of Enrich Points requirement for reactivation.
- Enrich Points may be reactivated at a rate of MYR 0.085 per Enrich Point. The transaction will by default be processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

Enrich Points Transfer
- Enrich Member may transfer Enrich Points to a Nominated Enrich Member account that is active in status. Enrich Points Transfer is not available for Nominee with other than active status.
- Enrich Points Transfer is available only online at https://enrich.malaysiaairlines.com/enrich.html.
- To register the Nominee's name, Enrich Member must download the Nominee Registration Form at Enrich Online and email to [email protected] with supporting documents.
- Nominees can be up to a maximum of eight (08) persons. Any Nominee name change, or replacement will be subject to a service fee. Change in Nominee can only be done after one (01) year.
- Enrich Points Transfer is only applicable from one (01) Enrich account to another Enrich account.
- Enrich Points Transfer is not applicable from one (01) Enrich account to another airline loyalty programme account.
- Enrich Points may be transferred at a rate provided in the table below. The transaction will be by default be processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
- The minimum amount of Enrich Points that can be transferred is 1,000 Enrich Points and the maximum is 500,000 Enrich Points per transaction.
- The amount of Enrich Points Transfer must be in incremental of 1,000 Enrich Points and above.
- Enrich Member must have a minimum of 100 Enrich Points balance in the Enrich account after the transfer of points. Total Enrich Points transfer is not allowed.
- Enrich Points Transfer is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of transaction and will expire at the end of the same month in which they were transferred.

General Guideline
There is no minimum Enrich Points guarantee.
Each Enrich Partner may have different qualification criteria for awarding Enrich Points. It is the responsibility of the Enrich Member to check with the Enrich Partner if Enrich Points will be accrued for their Activity with that Enrich Partner.
Enrich Points may only be accrued once per Activity upon the journey being completed.
Once credited, the Enrich Points are non-refundable and non-reversible.
The pooling of Enrich Points by more than one Enrich Member into a single Account is not permitted. Enrich Points may only be earned and credited to an Account by the person whose name the Account is registered.
Malaysia Airlines and Enrich reserve the right to close an Account and void all Enrich Points in that Account without prior notice, if it is of the view of Enrich that the Account have accrued Enrich Points fraudulently or through any illegal means or methods.
Malaysia Airlines and Enrich reserves the right to audit any Enrich Member account (s) at any time for compliance with the Enrich programme’s Terms and Conditions without prior notice being given.
1) Earn Enrich Points on Flights
a) For qualifying flights with Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines, Enrich Airline Partners and codeshare flights, Enrich Member will earn the actual number of points as calculated using the Fare Based Accrual and Ticketed Point Mileage (according to the respective accrual calculation type applied), plus any applicable Enrich Points.
b) To ensure correct crediting of Enrich Points, the Enrich Member must quote their Enrich membership number at time of reservation and present the same signed Enrich membership card at point of check-in when using the services of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and/or Enrich Partners. Failure to do so will result in non-credit of Enrich Points.
c) Enrich Points can only be earned once per flight and on qualifying fare paid once the journey is completed. The crediting of Enrich Points to multiple frequent flyer programmes is not allowed. If a Member is found to have accrued points in multiple frequent flyer programmes from a single Activity, Enrich has the right to close that Enrich Member’s Account and void all Enrich Points in the Account.
d) Enrich Points will only be credited to the Enrich Member's Account after the flight has been completed. Enrich Points are expected to be credited within 07 days of the qualifying flight provided. .
e) Enrich Points are not earned for travel on:
- Flights on booking classes (U/I/W/E/X/T) and any other booking classes that are not listed in or are excluded in the Malaysia Airlines Mileage Accrual Table.
- Freighter flights (MH6000 flight series).
- Twin Otter aircraft.
f) Enrich Points are also not earned for travel on:
- Infant fares
- Complimentary tickets
- Travel Award Tickets (Redeemed with full Enrich Points or part Points for a Points + Cash redemption)
- Travel industry rebated tickets (ATR - Air Travel Authority)
- Tickets issued with ATR (Air Travel Authority) as mode of payment
- Airline Staff Tickets
- Competition prize tickets
- Tickets acquired at an Auction; or
- Tickets which are restricted from earning Enrich Points or are subject to any specific provisions excluding the accumulation of Enrich Points.
g) Enrich Points for qualified Activities will be accrued by the Enrich Member using the product or service of Malaysia Airlines, oneworld Airlines and Enrich Partners regardless of who paid for the product or service.
h) Members will not be eligible to earn Enrich Points for the following situations:
- Non-utilisation of the services purchased from Malaysia Airlines, oneworld airlines, and Enrich Airlines Partner;
- Any purchase of flight and/or fare which categorised as non-qualifying flight and/or fare.
i) Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points for the MYR (Ringgit Malaysia) fare paid for the ‘Cash’ portion of a ‘Points + Cash’ flight redemption, fuel surcharge (YQ) and administration charge (YQ) (where applicable) on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights.
j) The Enrich Points earned for part ‘Cash’ will be according to commercial fare paid. Member will not earn Enrich Points for the amount paid in cash for applicable government/airport-imposed taxes and surcharges.
k) Enrich Member will not earn Enrich Points for the part ‘Points’ of a ‘Points + Cash’ flight redemption.
2) Earning Enrich Points on Malaysia Airlines, MASwings and Malaysia Airlines/Firefly codeshare flight
a. Effective 1 April 2021, Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points based on eligible fare paid and carrier related charges excluding government-imposed taxes and fees for a completed travel on Economy Class, Business Class and Business Suite on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights, MASwings operated flights and Malaysia Airlines marketed/Firefly operated codeshare flights (MH4000/MH5000 only).
b. Carrier-imposed surcharges is categorized as Fuel Surcharge (YQ) + Administration Charge (YR) (where applicable). Earning of Enrich Points also include other carrier- imposed surcharges.
c. Government/airport-imposed taxes and fees are charges imposed by the respective governments/airport and collected by the airline on behalf of them. Therefore, earning of Enrich Points exclude government/airport-imposed taxes and fees.
d. Base fare in the Fare Base Accrual excludes discount vouchers, or any online promo codes used as part payment for the ticket redeemed. Member will not be eligible for Enrich Points for the discounted amount.
e. The base of Enrich Points is every Malaysian Ringgit MYR 1 earn 1 Enrich Point.
f. Member will earn additional bonus points based on Enrich Tier Status and the following multiplier:

g. Base fare will be calculated on Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) only. For tickets purchased in a currency other than Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), the amount will be converted to MYR using an internal exchange rate based on the date of ticket issued. The converted MYR will determine the number of Enrich Points earned for a travel.
h. In the event a flight is cancelled due to operational reasons and Malaysia Airlines transfers the Enrich Member to another airline, the Enrich Member will accrue Enrich Points on their original Malaysia Airlines flight itinerary.
3) Earn Enrich Points on MHupgrade
a. Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points for an MHupgrade for travel on MH operated domestic flights issued on 232 documents only.
b. MHupgrade is not valid for MH flights ticketed on another airline document
c. Enrich Points will be awarded based on the amount (fare) paid for the MHupgrade for the respective sectors.
d. Enrich Member will earn one Enrich Point for every MYR 5.00 (or local equivalent) paid on the fare, one-way.
e. Enrich Member will not earn Elite Points for the fare paid for the MHupgrade.
f. Ticket fare rules will apply for the changes to the ticket.
g. Enrich Member will not be eligible to earn Enrich Points if the MHupgrade is not utilized after successful application.
h. Once an MHupgrade transaction is successful, Enrich Points redeemed is considered used even if not utilised for the flight reserved. Enrich Points are not refundable nor can taxes, fees and surcharges paid be refunded.
4) Earn Enrich Points on Charter Flights
a. Effective 01 November 2022, Enrich Member will earn Fixed Enrich Points and Tier Elite Points (based on zone and cabin class of travel) for qualifying flight and fare on MH8000 flight series range and charter flights using commercial flight numbers for the flight sectors stated below.

5) Earning Enrich Points on oneworld airlines and Enrich Airline Partner
a. Enrich Member may accrue Enrich Points and Elite Points when using the qualifying services (referring to flight and booking/fare class) and products of oneworld Airlines including MH9000 (Malaysia Airlines codeshare flight with oneworld airlines).
b. Enrich Member may accrue Enrich Points when using the qualifying services (referring to flight and booking/fare class) and products of Enrich Airline Partner.
c. Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points based on distance (Ticketed Point Mileage - TPM) and class travelled according to the respective airline accrual table (available in the website), and such offers will be governed by the terms and conditions set forth by the applicable Airline Partners.
d. Each Enrich Partner may have different qualification criteria for awarding Enrich Points. It is the Enrich Member's responsibility to clarify these criteria with the respective airline prior to purchasing a ticket and traveling with the Airline Partner.
e. Any fees imposed by Airline Partner are the responsibility of the Enrich Member.
f. Airline Partner programme participation dates may vary and Enrich Points will be awarded according to the participating dates.
g. Enrich Points claim for travel on Malaysia Airlines flights to another Airline Partner loyalty account, member is to submit the claim with copy of e-ticket and boarding pass as supporting document to the Airline Partner. Member to contact the respective loyalty airline on any disputes on a rejected claim.
h. In the event a flight on Airline Partner is cancelled due to operational reasons and the airline transfers the Enrich member to another airline, the Enrich Member will accrue Enrich Points as per the operating carrier’s policy.
6) Earn Enrich Points on combination with Malaysia Airlines with oneworld and Airline Partner Flights
a. Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points and Elite Points based on flight distance (Ticketed Point Mileage – TPM), qualifying flight booked and eligible fare class on a completed journey for flight combinations as stated below:
- Malaysia Airlines connecting with any oneworld airline partner issued in a single ticket
- Malaysia Airlines marketed and/or oneworld airline partner operated which bear the MH9000 codeshare flight series
b. Member will earn Enrich Points only based on flight distance (Ticketed Point Mileage – TPM), qualifying flight booked and eligible fare class on a completed journey with Enrich partner airlines for flight combinations as stated below:
- A combination of a Malaysia Airlines and an Enrich Airline Partner fare ticket.
- MH4000 Malaysia Airlines (Emirates Airline codeshare flights only).
- All MH5000 codeshare flights (other than MH4000/MH5000 Malaysia Airlines marketed/Firefly operated codeshare flights
- Codeshare flights marketed by Malaysia Airlines and operated by another airline or vice versa
Note : Enrich Points will be credited, subject to eligibility, according to the flight number booked and stated on the ticket. All other MH4000 codeshare flights are not eligible for Enrich Points
Earn Enrich Points on Non-Flight Lifestyle Partners
General Guideline
- Enrich Member may earn Enrich Points when making qualifying transactions on products and/or services offered by Enrich Lifestyle Partners.
- Enrich Points may be credited, if eligible to the Enrich Member’s Account within 6-8 weeks, unless specified otherwise.
Earn Enrich Points on Hotel Stay
a) Enrich Member may earn Enrich Points for qualifying hotel stays. Enrich Member’ name must appear on the invoice for the qualifying hotel stay to earn the Enrich Points.
b) Enrich Points will only be awarded one time per stay regardless of the number of days or rooms booked.
c) Only selected stays may qualify for accrual of Enrich Points.
d) Points are awarded for hotel stays purchased at rates deemed eligible by the qualifying hotel, unless otherwise specified by the qualifying hotel. Points will not be earned for stays of the following types:
- Stays purchased as part of package holidays
- Free hotel stays
- Stays at industry discount rates
- Stay at group rates or other special promotional rates; or
- Stays using Award Vouchers or discount certificates.
e) Enrich Member is advised to confirm with the qualifying hotel before or latest at time of booking if a stay will accrue Enrich Points. Enrich Points may be credited, if eligible to the Enrich Member's Account within 6 to 8 weeks.
Earn Enrich Points on Car Rental
a) Enrich Member may earn Enrich Points for qualifying car rentals. Enrich Member’s name must appear on the invoice for the qualifying car rental to earn the Enrich Points.
b) Enrich Points are awarded for car rentals purchased at rates deemed eligible by the car rental company. Points will not be earned for car rentals of the type described below:
- Car rentals purchased as part of package holidays
- Free car rentals
- Car rentals at industry discount rates
- Car rentals at group rates or other special promotional rates; or
- Car rentals using Award Vouchers or discount certificates.
c) Enrich Points will only be awarded one time per rental regardless of the number of cars rented or rental days. Enrich Member is advised to contact the individual car rental company for specific terms and conditions on how to accrue Enrich Points.
Earn Enrich Points on Bank Point Conversion
a) Enrich Member may convert eligible bank credit/charge card points to Enrich Points.
b) The bank/financial institution card issuer's terms and conditions and programme rules shall apply. Enrich Member must contact the respective credit/charge card partner directly to request for the conversion of bank points to Enrich Points.
c) Enrich Points are credited to the Enrich Member's Account within 2 weeks from the date of the request of bank conversion from the respective bank/financial institutions.
d) Should the Enrich Points are not credited into the Enrich Account within 2 weeks, the Enrich Member is to contact the respective bank/financial institution to check on the transaction request
e) Once Enrich Points are successfully credited into an Enrich Member’s Account, it is not refundable or reversible.
f) The Bank Points conversion to Enrich Points shall be valid only for three (3) years and will expire at the end of the month of the transaction, of in the third year.
Earn Enrich Points on Retail and Services
a)To earn Enrich Points on retail and services transactions, Member is required to present their Enrich membership card or Enrich digital card at the time of payment
b) Unless otherwise specified, Enrich Points will be earned on total spending, including service charges and taxes where applicable
c) Member is responsible to check the details of their Enrich Points printed on the receipt for accuracy before leaving the premise and retain the original customer copy.
d) Enrich is not liable for Enrich Points claim in the event of loss of the original receipt, confirmation email, and/or non-presentation of membership card at the time of payment.
e) Enrich Points may not be earned in conjunction with any other partner-related promotions or discounts. Member is advised to check with the partner if Enrich Points will be accrued for their transaction.
f) Partner reserves the right at its sole discretion, to vary or amend any of their terms and conditions with regards to the availability of and eligibility for earning Enrich Points.
g) Enrich reserves the right at its sole discretion, to vary or amend any of the Terms and Conditions herein at any time, without prior notice
h) Enrich Points will be credited within 6 to 8 weeks after the qualified transactions are completed.
i)The Enrich Points earned shall be valid only for three (3) years and will expire at the end of the month in the third year.
Claim Missing Points
a) While every effort is made for Enrich Points and/or Elite Points earned from eligible products and services to be automatically credited into a Member’s Account.
b) Member is responsible to ensure that any Points due to them have been properly credited into their respective Enrich account.
c) In the event Enrich Points and/or Elite Points do not appear in a member Account after the qualifying transaction, Member may submit a claim to Enrich with the following supporting documents, which must show the date and value of the qualifying transaction:
- For missing flight on Malaysia Airlines or MASwings operated flights or Malaysia Airlines marketed/Firefly operated codeshare flights (MH4000/MH5000): e-ticket number/booking reference.
- For missing flight on oneworld member airlines or Enrich Airline Partners: a copy of e-ticket and original/copy of boarding pass.
- For missing hotel stay; a copy of the hotel bill.
- For missing car rental; a copy of the car rental agreement.
- For others; a copy of the invoice, receipt or statement
d) A Missing Points Claim must be submitted within 6 months (180 days) from the date of the qualifying transaction. Requests for missing Enrich Points and/or Elite Points made more than 6 months (180 days) after the qualifying transaction will not be accepted.
e) Enrich Member may submit the Missing Points Claim together with the necessary supporting documents via Enrich Online or email to [email protected]. Documents submitted for claims will not be returned.
f) Requests will require verification by Enrich, and/or by oneworld Airlines, Enrich Airline Partners and Enrich Non–Air Partners, whichever applied. If deemed a qualified transaction, the appropriate number of Enrich Points and/or Elite Points will be credited to the Enrich Member's Account. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Enrich Points and/or Elite Points to be reflected in the Account.
Enrich is not liable for Missing Points Claim if Member is not able to provide and, in the event of loss of the original supporting documents. For the purpose of Missing Points Claim for flights prior to 1 April 2021, terms and conditions apply.
General Guidelines
Enrich Member under the age of eighteen (18) years must have the prior written consent from a parent or guardian to redeem Enrich Points. Only the Enrich Member may request to redeem Enrich Points from their Account; no other person or entity may request for such a transaction. Enrich Points may be redeemed as soon as they are credited to an Enrich Member Account.
To claim an Enrich Award, the Enrich Member must have sufficient Enrich Points in their account. For members with insufficient Points, they may opt to redeem via Points + Cash redemption, where separate terms and conditions shall apply.
Enrich Points required to redeem an Enrich Award must from a single Account. Enrich Points may not be combined from multiple Accounts to redeem an Enrich Award.
Enrich Points required to redeem an Enrich Travel Award on Malaysia Airlines operated flights for a child (aged 2 to 11 years) or infant (aged 1 month to 23 months) may vary according to the applicable fares at the time of booking.
Redemption for infant on Business Suite is permitted. Note: There is no Bassinet facility available in the Business Suite cabin.
A child (aged 2 to11 years) or infant (aged 1 month to 23 months) is treated the same as an adult and requires the same number of Enrich Points for an Enrich Base Fixed Points Travel Award.
A child (aged 2 to 11 years) or infant (aged 1 month to 23 months) is treated the same as an adult and requires the same number of Enrich Points for an Enrich Travel Award on Airline Partner.
An “Unaccompanied Young Passenger” (child who has reached the 5th but not the 15th birthday and is not accompanied by his/her parents, guardian or a passenger aged 18 years or more) is not eligible for Enrich Online Award redemption ticket.
When booking an Award Travel or Upgrade Award Travel through Enrich Online, an “Unaccompanied Young Passenger” (child who has reached the 5th but not the 15th birthday) must be accompanied by his/her parents, guardian or a passenger aged 18 years or more in a single booking.
When making an Award Travel or Upgrade Award Travel reservations through Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre or Ticket Offices, the Enrich Member must clearly indicate that Enrich Points will be redeemed for this ticket. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled and no Travel Award being issued.
Getting a verbal price quote before making a booking, will not guarantee the same price as the price may change at any time and is subject to availability up until the booking is confirmed.
Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award are tied to fares and vary according to seat availability, passenger demand and seasonality which may limit the number of seats available for Award Travel on Malaysia Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners. SST may be applicable depending on the flight route. Other restrictions may apply during certain periods throughout the year.
Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award will only be issued for a confirmed reservation. Open dated or waitlist bookings/tickets are not allowed.
Award Travel tickets must be used in sequence and will be automatically void if sectors on the tickets are used out of sequence.
All Travel Award tickets must be issued by Malaysia Airlines on a Malaysia Airlines document. Travel agencies are not allowed to issue Enrich Travel Award tickets and any such tickets will not be accepted for travel.
Collection of Enrich Award ticket by an individual other than the Enrich Member must comply with the following conditions: -
The person nominated by the Enrich Member must present the following documents:
- The signed membership card or a copy of both sides of the membership card of the Enrich Member whose account the Enrich Points will be used for the redemption.
- A clear and legible photocopy of the NRIC (for Malaysian) or a valid passport of the Enrich Member whose account the Enrich Points will be used for the redemption.
- An original letter of authorisation signed by the Enrich Member whose account the Enrich Points will be used for the redemption; and
- The authorised person's own valid photo ID or NRIC (for Malaysian).
- Letter of authorisation via email communication will not be accepted
Enrich Points are deducted from the Enrich Member's Account when an Enrich Award is issued and not when a reservation or request is made.
Enrich Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award must be issued before the given ticketing deadline otherwise the booking will be automatically cancelled.
Travel Award redemption is subject to the fare conditions and may vary according to the fare class of travel. All taxes including SST, fees and surcharges (where applicable) are the responsibility of the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Award and are due at the time of issuance, ticketing and/or at departure.
Enrich Awards, industry discount, agency discount, free tickets, domestic Malaysia promotional fares, special restricted fares and tickets issued in Q / O / G / P / U / E / W / X / T / R / Z / I booking classes may not be used for the redemption of an Upgrade Travel Award. Upgrade Travel Award are subject to the rules of the purchased fare.
Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights are valid according to the applicable fare conditions.
In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling, passengers travelling on an Enrich Travel Award will be considered and accommodated as per the rules used for fare paying passengers.
Once a Travel Award is issued, it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved.
Sharing Enrich Awards
Members may redeem Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award in the name of family members and friends.
Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award redeemed in the name of family members and friends should be booked and ticketed following the same rules as for the Enrich Member.

Once a Travel Award is issued, it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved.
There shall be no fixed relationship or conversion between the ticket purchased paid by cash/credit card and the Enrich Points required to redeem a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award. The exact amount varies according to the applicable conversion rate at the time of booking. Fare Conditions for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award may be different to the fare conditions applicable to cash fares.
Enrich redemption on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights is based on full revenue fare converted to Enrich Points. Enrich redemption rules will apply.
Redeem Enrich Points on Travel Award
General Guideline
Malaysia Airlines Flights means flights operated by Malaysia Airlines and MASwings* operated flights, except for Malaysia Airlines codeshare and Malaysia Airlines marketed flights which are excluded from this definition. *not valid on MASwings flights operated by DHT aircraft type.
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award means a Full Points or Points & Cash Travel Award flight redemption booking and ticket made on pure Malaysia Airlines Flights.
A Full Points Travel Award redemption ticket means the Travel Award is redeemed fully in Points excluding applicable taxes and surcharges which, are to be paid in cash/credit card.
A Full Points Travel Award can be redeemed on Malaysia Airlines Flights or oneworld Airlines or Airline Partner. Redemption on Malaysia Airlines Flights can be done via Enrich Online or MH.com website.
Redemption with full Enrich Points on oneworld Airlines or Airline Partner is only available at Malaysia Airlines Contact Center and Ticket Offices.
Points + Cash Travel Award is a redemption option that allows Enrich Member to redeem flights with a combination of Enrich Points and cash/credit card.
Points + Cash Travel Award tickets can only be redeemed on pure Malaysia Airlines flights.
Redemptions for mixed carrier Travel Award are not allowed. Travel must be solely on Malaysia Airlines.
The Malaysia Airlines Travel Award online redemption option is not available on for Airline Partner and/or oneworld Airlines.
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption option is available online at Enrich Online or MH.com and at Malaysia Airlines Contact Center and Ticket Offices.
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption is subject to the Fare Conditions (including SST, where applicable) and may vary according to the fare class of travel.
All Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption tickets must be on available and confirmed seat basis at the time of booking. Not applicable for waitlist or open dated tickets.
All Malaysia Airlines Travel Award is subject to seats being available on eligible class (es) of travel on Malaysia Airlines Flights. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to change this class (es) without any prior notice.
The following are excluded and cannot be booked with Points:-
- Fares with booking classes P & G
- Codeshare flights and MASwings flights operated by DHT aircraft type
- Ancillaries such as seats, meals and insurance
The number of Enrich Points required to redeem a Malaysia Airlines Award Travel redemption vary. The fares and applicable fare conditions vary according to flight and seat availability, passenger demand, seasonality, and ticket conditions.
The number of Points required for redemption depends on the Malaysia Airlines flights that Member chooses and the applicable ticket conditions. Member are encouraged to make an informed comparison, before deciding on the best option for their travel needs.
The Malaysia Airlines Website will provide available fares at time of seat availability check and the actual total Points or Points + Cash required will be reflected upon selecting and confirming the flights. The total fare shown after selecting the flights for the redemption, will apply.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms & Conditions, the number of Points or Points + Cash payment required to obtain a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption ticket are subject to change at any time, with or without prior notice.
Accordingly, the number of Enrich Points and amount of money quoted on the website when booking a Points or Points + Cash Travel Award are only valid at the time quoted. If a booking is delayed or not completed when quoted, the number of Enrich Points and payment amounts quoted for the requested itinerary may change and the final fare shown after selecting the flights for the redemption will apply.
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award ticket may only be booked:
- at the time specified in the Fare Conditions and or up to 04 hours before the scheduled departure of flights.
- Some fare conditions may require an advance purchase period to be observed.
There shall be no fixed relationship or conversion between the ticket purchased paid by cash/credit card and the Enrich Points required to redeem a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award. The exact amount varies according to the applicable conversion rate at the time of booking. Fare Conditions for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award may be different to the fare conditions applicable to cash fares.
Enrich Member must login to his/her Enrich membership account online as part of the Points + Cash redemption booking and ticketing process.
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption is available solely on applicable itineraries of Malaysia Airlines Flights.
Enrich Member must have a minimum of 1000 Enrich Points in their Enrich account to be eligible for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award option online.
Enrich Points under the Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption offer will be redeemed per sector, per member, from the respective membership account.
Points + Cash Travel Award redemption for children of 02 years - below 12 years and infant below 23 months is available in accordance and as specified in the Fare Conditions for a child and infant ticket.
Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points for the MYR (Ringgit Malaysia) fare paid for the ‘Cash’ portion of a ‘Points + Cash’ flight redemption, fuel surcharge (YQ) and administration charge (YQ) (where applicable) on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights.
Enrich Member will not earn Enrich Points for the part ‘Points’ of a ‘Points + Cash’ flight redemption.
Enrich Member will not earn Elite Points for the ‘Cash’ or ‘Points’ portion of a ‘Points + Cash’ Award Ticket.
Enrich Points cannot be converted to or exchanged for money.
Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption is not applicable for group travel bookings involving ten and more passengers.
Enrich Points are deducted from the Enrich Member's Account when an Online Enrich Travel Award is issued and not when a reservation or request is made.
Once a Travel Award is issued, it is considered used even if not utilised for the flight reserved.
The origin and destination points for one-way travel must be different when utilising a one-way Enrich Award. For return trip Enrich Awards, the outbound origin and inbound destination must be the same.
In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling, passengers travelling on an Enrich Award will be considered and accommodated as per the rules used for fare paying passengers.
Enrich Online Travel Award may be reissued only for travel on the same airline, by the same person and provided no part of the Enrich Award has been utilised.
In the event member wishes to make any changes to an unutilized or partly utilized Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption ticket, it will be in accordance with the applicable Fare Conditions and these Terms and Conditions.
Any payments involving changes to a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption must be paid with cash/credit card as specified in the Fare Conditions. For the purposes of calculating any such payments, the original fare or commercial ticket value (as referred to in the Fare Conditions) of the Malaysia Airlines Travel Award will be calculated as the remaining cash value of the unused ticket determined in accordance with the Fare Conditions.
Travel Award may be reissued only for travel on the same airline, by the same person and provided no part of the Travel Award has been utilized and will be subject to the Fare Conditions of the ticket on penalties or cancellation fees and these Terms and Conditions.
Travel Award may be reissued for a higher fare class or cabin subject to Fare Conditions. Any difference in fare including any taxes, fees and carrier charges at time of reissuance of the ticket will be required to be paid in cash/credit card only for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award and in Points only for Partner Travel Award, subject to the applicable fare conditions and these Terms and Conditions. Reissue to a lower fare class is strictly not allowed.
Change in destination to a completely unutilized/unused Travel Award is allowed subject to the Fare Conditions. If the fare to the new destination is lower, the fare difference will not be refunded.
Rerouting to a partly utilized/used Travel Award ticket is not allowed.
Member is not allowed to redeem with Points or purchase the additional Points by cash or credit card to pay for any fare difference for a change to a Travel Award ticket that is of higher fare value.
Redemption Upgrades are not allowed for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award tickets.
Member is NOT allowed to combine Enrich Points from different accounts to redeem a Travel Award ticket.
The Enrich Points required for a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption (or the Enrich Points required plus the amount of any money payment required for Points + Cash option) shown at this website will not include taxes, fees and carrier charges at time of redeeming the ticket which Member will be required to pay in cash.
The Member will also be required to pay any other fees, any additional local airport fees and charges collected at the time of check-in and any fees payable that may not be part of the fare conditions of the Travel Award redeemed.
For a ‘Points + Cash’ Travel Award, the ‘Cash' portion is refundable by credit to the credit card used for the Award ticket purchased and will be subject to the Fare Conditions of the ticket on penalties or cancellation fees and these Terms and Conditions.
Unless stated otherwise in these Terms and Conditions, where a flight involving a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award is cancelled, and the applicable Fare Conditions provide that the original fare may be used as a credit towards the payment of a new fare, and the original fare or commercial ticket value (as referred to in the Fare Conditions) is required for this purpose, then the original fare or commercial ticket value of the Malaysia Airlines Travel Award redemption ticket will be calculated as the remaining cash value of the unused ticket determined in accordance with the Fare Conditions. However, any expired Points will not be refunded and will be forfeited.
Enrich reserves the right to change the price of the Malaysia Airlines Travel Award ticket and / or number of Enrich Points to be redeemed or impose additional restrictions at any time with or without prior notice.
All other terms and conditions of online booking and e-ticketing and other applicable regulations will apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions mentioned above.
In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions with other terms and conditions, the Malaysia Airlines Travel Award Flight Redemption Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
The use of Enrich Points against this offer is subject to these Terms and Conditions and all other Terms and Conditions of the Enrich programme. The terms and conditions of the Enrich programme are subject to change at any time with or without notice.
Redeem Enrich Points for Malaysia Airlines Travel Award
A Malaysia Airlines Award comprises of either a Travel Award or an Upgrade Travel Award made on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights only.
The number of Enrich Points required to redeem a Travel Award and the fare conditions applicable to that Travel Award, may be different depending on the Travel Award type chosen. Member must consider the applicable Fare Conditions for each Travel Award before making a booking.
A passenger booking itinerary traveling on a Travel Award and Upgrade Travel Award on Malaysia Airlines solely operated flights will follow the applicable fare rules and conditions of the Award or paid ticket.
When utilising an Enrich Travel Award and there is a sector in the itinerary which does not offer the class of travel redeemed for, a lower class of travel will be extended for the affected sector without any Enrich Points adjustment.
A passenger traveling on a Travel Award is not allowed to make stopover either it is a one way or return trip journey.
Only point – to - point one way and mirror like return Online Enrich Awards are allowed. Route restrictions may apply and will not be available for Travel Award.
Where mixed class travel is concerned, the Enrich Points required for the Malaysia Airlines Travel Award will be priced according to the actual cabin classes taken on a prorate basis and will follow the applicable fare rules and conditions. Member must contact Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre for the exact Enrich Points required.
Backtracking is not permitted except as required by route restrictions. Backtracking occurs when a journey does not continue in the same direction where it began.
An itinerary continuing a backtracking sector not required by route restrictions may require separate tickets.
For the purpose of connection, a passenger traveling on an Award is allowed to make one transfer at an intermediate point on a one-way journey, and one transfer for the outbound and one transfer for the inbound for a return trip journey.
A passenger is not permitted to transfer at an intermediate point more than twice on a single Enrich Award ticket.
Origin or turnaround point may not be used as an intermediate point in a one way or return trip journey
Stopover, open-jaw is not permitted for Travel Award. Mixed Class is not permitted for one-way journey for Award.
The origin and destination for one-way travel must be different when utilising a one-way Enrich Award. For return trip Enrich Awards, the outbound origin and inbound destination must be the same.
All taxes (including but not limited to SST), fees and surcharges where applicable are the responsibility of the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Award and are due at the time of issuance, ticketing and/or at departure
In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling, passengers travelling on an Enrich Award will be considered and accommodated as per the rules used for fare paying passengers.
Malaysia Airlines Awards may be re-issued on the same fare class redeemed or higher and only for travel on the same airline, by the same person provided that no part of the Malaysia Airlines Award has been utilized. Additional collection for any fare difference and taxes and charges in cash or credit card may be required for any change in the itinerary according to the fare conditions. The validity of the re-issued Malaysia Airlines Travel Award will be as per the respective fare rules and conditions.
Any change in the itinerary where, the fare is higher, the additional amount must be paid by cash/credit card. The fare difference cannot be paid by Enrich Points. If the new itinerary requires fewer Enrich Points, the excess Enrich Points will not be refunded. A reissuance fee will apply. The re-issued Enrich Award will have the same expiry date as the original Enrich Award. The reissuance can only be done at our Contact Center or any nearest Malaysia Airlines Ticket offices
Malaysia Airlines Award can be booked through Enrich website, Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre or any Malaysia Airlines Ticket Offices. Once a Travel Award is issued, it is considered used even if not utilised for the flight reserved. Enrich and Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions associated with a Malaysia Airlines Award from time to time, including the Enrich Points requirement.
Enrich Saver Redemption
Enrich Saver offers Enrich Members another option to redeem tickets with fixed number of Enrich Points to the Dynamic Redemption (commercial fares converted to Enrich Points) on eligible pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is only available for booking via online at https://enrich.malaysiaairlines.com/enrich.html for redemption on pure Malaysia Airlines domestic/international operated flights only.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is not available for booking at Malaysia Airlines Contact Center and Ticket Offices or Travel agents.
- Enrich Saver is only applicable for redemption with Full Enrich Points.
- ‘Enrich Points + Cash’ is not applicable for Enrich Saver Redemption.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is available for all Enrich Members who have enough Enrich Points in their account to cover all travelers.
- Enrich Saver Redemption for an infant (up to 23 months) and child (aged 2 to 11 years) will be the same as an adult and require the same number of Enrich Points. Child or infant discount does not apply.
- An “Unaccompanied Young Passenger” (child who has reached the 5th but not the 15th birthday and is not accompanied by his/her parents, guardian or a passenger aged 18 years or more) is not eligible for Enrich Saver Redemption ticket. All children under this category must be booked with an adult when redeeming via online.
- Enrich Members may call the Malaysia Airlines Contact Center to redeem for infant under Dynamic Redemption. No confirmed seat will be allocated for infant. If a confirmed seat is requested for infant, child redemption points will apply under Dynamic Redemption fare conditions.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is only applicable on stated booking classes:
- Enrich Saver Redemption must be issued on a confirmed reservation. Open dated or waitlist bookings/tickets are not allowed.
Enrich Saver Redemption flight coupons (tickets) must be used in sequence and will be automatically void if sectors on the tickets are used out of sequence.
All Enrich Saver Redemption tickets must be issued by Malaysia Airlines on a Malaysia Airlines MH (232) ticket document.
Enrich Member will not earn Enrich Points and Tier Elite Points for Enrich Saver Redemption.
When booking for Enrich Saver Redemption ticket via online, Enrich Members must select ‘Points’ as the mode of payment at the booking page before selecting the destination and travel date.
Enrich Members who select ‘Points’ as mode of payment to redeem but pay by credit card without any Enrich Points redeemed, will not be eligible for Enrich Points or Tier Elite Points as the transaction will be considered as redemption.
Enrich Saver Redemption is subject to first come first serve seat availability and Malaysia Airlines will not assume any liability if seats are not available.
Enrich Members may proceed with Dynamic Redemption if Enrich Saver Redemption option is not available.
Enrich Saver Redemption does not include applicable taxes and surcharges which, are to be paid by credit card by the member.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is not valid on:
a) Codeshare Flights (MH4000, MH5000 and MH9000 flight series)
b) MASwings (MH3000 flight series)

- The Enrich Saver Redemption Points indicated is only valid for non-stop flights between two destinations on the specified fare class(es) only. Stopover NOT allowed.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is not eligible for Enrich Upgrade, MHupgrade, Last Minute Upgrade, Free Upgrade (where applicable) or any other form of upgrade.
- Enrich Saver Redemption ticket once redeemed is not refundable, not endorsable and not transferable. Name change not allowed.
- Once an Enrich Saver Redemption ticket is redeemed, it is considered used even if not used for the flight reserved. Enrich Points will not be refunded nor can taxes, fees and surcharges paid be refunded.
- Enrich Saver Redemption is combinable with any Dynamic Redemption Award Ticket.
- There shall be no fixed relationship or conversion between Enrich Saver Redemption and Dynamic Redemption. • Enrich Saver Redemption Ticket - Fixed Enrich Points will be subject to Enrich Saver Terms and Conditions. • Dynamic Redemption Ticket - Tied to fares and vary according to seat availability, passenger demand and seasonality. Any changes to this redemption ticket will be subject to fare conditions.
- Rerouting for Enrich Saver Redemption is not allowed.
- Rebooking for same booking class for Enrich Saver Redemption is allowed, subject to seat availability.
- The rebooking fee will apply as follows: -
- If same booking class is not available, upsell to any higher available booking class is allowed. Rebooking fee and fare difference may apply. Fare difference must be paid only by cash or credit card.
- Upsell to higher booking class will be converted from Enrich Saver Redemption ticket to Dynamic Award Redemption ticket and subject to fare conditions for any date change and penalty.
- Enrich Members will not earn Enrich Points or Elite Points for the upsell to any higher booking class for a Dynamic Award Redemption ticket.
- Reissue to a lower booking class is strictly not allowed.
- Any Enrich Points balance is non-refundable and is forfeited.
- Enrich Saver Redemption tickets is non-refundable and entire ticket is forfeited in the event of any cancelation.
- ‘No-show’ for a flight is considered a cancellation after flight departure and rebooking is not permitted. Entire ticket is forfeited.

Enrich Upgrade
Enrich Member with enough Enrich Points in their account can redeem an upgrade from economy to business class under the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ tab upon purchase of an eligible economy class revenue fare ticket for a domestic travel via ‘Manage My Booking’ portal online. The following conditions will apply:
1) ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is eligible for redemption using Enrich Points for upgrade from an eligible economy class revenue fare ticket to the next higher cabin class i.e., business class via ‘Manage My Booking’.
2) Enrich Upgrade’ is only available on domestic flights within Peninsular Malaysia and between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia operated by pure Malaysia Airlines flights only.
3) Enrich Points for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ will apply per flight segment basis.
4) To be eligible to redeem the ‘Enrich Upgrade’, Member must first purchase a confirmed Basic or Flex revenue fare ticket (“Ticket”) on Economy Class for upgrade to Business class using Enrich Points.
5) ‘Enrich Upgrade’ via ‘Manage My Booking’ is not available for International flights.
6) ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is eligible for flight ticket issued on a Malaysia Airlines’ document number 232 with carrier code ‘MH’ and on services operated by Malaysia Airlines flights only.
‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is not eligible for a flight booked on a Malaysia Airlines flight but ticketed on another airline document.
7) Member(s) can only purchase one ‘Enrich Upgrade’ per eligible flight segment as per the purchased revenue ticket.
8) Waitlist or open-dated bookings/tickets are not eligible for ‘Enrich Upgrade’.
9) ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is available for redemption at the ‘Manage My Booking’ platform at Malaysia Airlines website (www.malaysiaairlines.com) up to 06 hours before flight departure.
10) For redemption upgrade(s) less than 06 hours of flight departure is still available via our Contact Center at 1-300-88-3000 (within Malaysia) or 6-03-7843 3000 (outside Malaysia)
11) ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is subject to seat availability on Business Class and on first-come-first serve basis for the selected flight segment.
12) Children (02 – 12 years) travelling with an accompanying adult will also be eligible for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ upon purchase of an eligible and qualifying economy class fare ticket.
13) Enrich Points for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ for a child will be the same as an adult. There is no child points discount offer.
14) Infant (up to 23 months) will be offered complimentary upgrade from Economy to Business Class for the same flight segment as the adult accompanying the infant, upon successful ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption by the adult passenger.
15) The Enrich Points quote for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is fixed. Enrich Member may click at this link to view the Enrich Points required for the selected flight segment under the ‘Redemption Upgrade Table’.
16) Enrich Member must have enough Enrich Points in their account to proceed with the ‘Enrich Upgrade’.
17) Once the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is successful, Enrich Points redeemed are not refundable or exchangeable to other ‘Upgrade’ product offers e.g., MHupgrade or Last-Minute Upgrade, Free Upgrade (where applicable) or any other form of upgrade.
18) Once the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is successfully redeemed, the Enrich Points are not refundable under any circumstances.
19) If the Enrich Member does not utilise the Enrich Upgrade for a travel confirmed, the Enrich Points will not be refunded and is forfeited.
20) Enrich Member will be entitled for Enrich Points and Elite Points for the original revenue ticket purchased on economy fare class.
Domestic Travel:

- 'Enrich Upgrade’ is applicable for Penang to Kuala Lumpur flight segment ONLY
- ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is NOT applicable for the Kuala Lumpur to London flight segment.
- Business Class baggage allowance for Member redeeming ‘Enrich Upgrade’ on the domestic flight sector for a mixed domestic and international travel will be as follows:
Example : Penang/Kuala Lumpur/London, will be eligible for Business Class baggage allowance only for the upgraded Penang to Kuala Lumpur flight segment. only. Member will NOT be eligible for business class baggage allowance for the Kuala Lumpur to London flight sector.
21) Member with eligible Ticket(s) may check on the eligibility of his/her flight segment(s) by visiting Malaysia Airlines website (www.malaysiairlines.com) and enter the required details including the Malaysia Airlines booking reference in the ‘Manage My Booking’ platform.
22) The following shall NOT be eligible for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ under ‘Upgrade’ online platform:
- Economy HFF lite fare ticket
- Enrich Full Points redemption tickets, Points + Cash redemption tickets and Redemption Upgrade tickets
- Staff tickets, APT, AD, FTP (RBD X, T, U, W)
- Tickets issued with ATR (Air Travel Authority) as payment
- Government tickets (GOM)
- Unaccompanied Minor (UMNR) and Young Passenger Travelling Alone (YPTA)
- Sponsor/Complimentary/Award/ Lucky draw ticket
- MASwings (MH3000) and Firefly flights (including codeshare MH5000)
- Charter Flights and Joint Services
- Malaysia Airlines flights issued on other airline tickets (non-232 tickets)
- Open dated or waitlisted tickets
- Group tickets with booking class ‘G’
- Booking with Wheelchair Service (WCHR)
23) Redemption upgrade with Points for UMNR, YPTA, Government (GOM) warrant tickets and booking with wheelchair (WCHR) service is available via our Contact Center or Malaysia Airlines ticket offices only, subject to the seat(s) being available on the next higher cabin class.
24) Malaysia Airlines reserves the right in its absolute discretion and without prior notice to determine, change and not disclose the factors, conditions and rules relating to the eligibility of ‘Enrich Upgrade’, which may be reviewed from time to time according to market conditions, seasonality and passenger load.
25) By redeeming ‘Enrich Upgrade’:
- The Member confirms that he or she has reached the legal age of majority in their country of residence at the time the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is transacted and
- Member shall be deemed to have the authority to act on behalf of and to bind the person(s) in the same booking, to these Terms & Conditions.
26) Any applicable or additional airport taxes/surcharges or carrier-related charges for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ will be charged and collected separately and shall be borne by the Member. These charges are not included in ‘Enrich Upgrade’ and cannot be paid or redeemed by or with Enrich Points.
27) If there are two or more passengers in a Member’s booking, Member can redeem ‘Enrich Upgrade’ for all the passengers in the booking. The Enrich Points required for each passenger in the single booking will be on a per-passenger Points quote. The Enrich Member must ensure sufficient Points are available in his/her account to redeem for all the passengers in the booking as pooling or combining of Enrich Points for the purpose of redeeming the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ from different Enrich accounts is NOT allowed. Enrich Points required for each passenger will be multiplied by the number of Enrich Points required for the flight sector in the Member’s booking. ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is not allowed for only one passenger in a single booking for two or more passengers. All passengers in the single booking must be able to proceed with ‘Enrich Upgrade’. Split booking to allow only one passenger in the booking for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ in ‘Upgrade’ platform is not allowed.
28) Member can redeem ‘Enrich Upgrade’ via ‘Upgrade’ platform using Points from one Enrich membership account only. ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption in a single booking with two or more passengers cannot be redeemed from multiple Enrich accounts.
29) Individual passengers in a single booking of two or more, wishing to perform ‘Enrich Upgrade’ using their respective Enrich membership account, are to call our Contact Center. Member will not be able to proceed via ‘Upgrade’ platform.
30) If only one Member in a single booking with two or more passengers wishes to proceed with ‘Enrich Upgrade’, Member may call Contact Center at 1-300-88-3000 (within Malaysia) or 603-7843 3000 (outside Malaysia) to split the booking.
31) Once the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is confirmed and successful, Enrich Points will be deducted from the Member’s Enrich Account where they will receive:
- An Electronic Miscellaneous Document receipt (EMD) with the Enrich Points amount deducted will be issued to each passenger in the flight booking. The EMD will be emailed to the member’s email address provided in the booking reference upon confirmation.
Note : If for whatever reason the redemption cannot be completed successfully, no payment will be charged by Malaysia Airlines. The Enrich Points, if deducted, will be reversed to the Member’s Enrich account within 30 minutes of the unsuccessful transaction.
32) A 6-character Malaysia Airlines Booking Reference is supplied to Member at the time of booking of a Malaysia Airlines flight and is printed on the Ticket. The Member may use the Booking Reference to check the eligibility for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ at the ‘Manage My Booking’ site. Booking Reference provided must always be kept confidential. The Member must not share his/her Booking Reference and they are responsible to protect it against improper or unauthorized use.
33) Malaysia Airlines does not guarantee specific seat assignments to the Member or person(s) whose ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is successful.
34) All personal costs and/or any other costs and/or related expenses that are incurred to redeem the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ are at the Member’s sole responsibility and own costs.
35) ‘Enrich Upgrade’, once successfully redeemed, is strictly non-transferable and non- refundable.
36) For any change to the travel booked date of a revenue booking, the Enrich Points may be carried forward to the new date of travel provided the revenue ticket is on the same original destination and fare class paid. Any penalty to change in flight will be subject to the revenue ticket fare rules.
37) Enrich Points redeemed for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ will be forfeited if Member decide to cancel their revenue ticket purchased voluntarily were, a refund to the revenue ticket may be available. Enrich Points redeemed for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ are not refundable.
38) Once the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is successful, Enrich Points, credits for Additional taxes/surcharges collected at time of ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption, are not refundable. Enrich Points redeemed for ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is considered used even if not used. No refunds of Enrich Points will be allowed under any circumstances.
39) Enrich Member will earn Enrich Points and Elite Points for the revenue economy class ticket purchased and carrier-related charges under the new Fare Base Accrual (not including taxes, surcharges or any other non-related carrier charges paid)
40) Enrich Member will not earn Enrich Points for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption with Enrich Points.
41) Once Member receive the confirmation email on the acceptance of Member’s ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption, Malaysia Airlines will not be responsible or liable for any claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses arising from any changes to the booking, whether such changes are made by Member or any third party for whatever reasons.
42) Member may proceed with web check-in once ‘Enrich Upgrade’ transaction for the higher class is successful.
43) Member may opt to purchase ancillary such as KLIA express ticket, insurance or even extra baggage allowance at time of web check-in. These ancillaries are not payable with Enrich Points.
Ancillaries purchased will be subject to its own respective terms and conditions. Member are advised to check the terms and conditions before deciding to purchase these ancillaries as Enrich will not be responsible for disagreements that may arise from these purchases.
44) In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling:
- Malaysia Airlines will reallocate Member or passengers in the same booking on to another Malaysia Airlines flight for whatever reason(s) other than for reasons attributable to Member’s fault, actions or omissions, any ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption made in relation to the original booking may at the discretion of Malaysia Airlines, be transferred to the new flight(s) on Malaysia Airlines, subject to availability of seats in the upgraded class.
- If the Member’s booking is transferred to a flight operated by an airline other than Malaysia Airlines, the rebooking will be on the original revenue economy class ticket purchased and not in the higher class redeemed.
- The Enrich Points for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ will not be carried forward to the new flight operated by an airline other than Malaysia Airlines and may be refunded upon verification of the reallocation affected by the cancellation to the Malaysia Airlines original flight redeemed with ‘Enrich Upgrade’.
45) Member is entitled to a refund for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ under the following conditions:
- The flight for which the Member redeemed using ‘Enrich Upgrade’ was cancelled.
- The flight for which Member’s ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption was cancelled, and Malaysia Airlines re-accommodates the Member on another flight which may or may not be operated by Malaysia Airlines and Member is seated in the class of service of the Member’s original booking.
46) No refund will be issued in the case of a change to a substitute aircraft to operate a flight where the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is still available to Member on that substitute aircraft.
47) The fare conditions of the original Ticket purchased by the Member, which includes, but is not limited to, cancellation policies, change fees, baggage allowance, and rules relating to the accrual of frequent flyer points shall remain unchanged and in effect and will be applicable even if Member’s ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption is successful.
48) ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption entitles the Member to use Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge in respect of the flight for which Member’s ‘Enrich Upgrade’ is booked, provided the Member presents a valid boarding pass as supporting document before access to the lounge can be allowed.
49) A successful ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption entitles member or person(s) in the same booking to Business Class baggage allowance.
50) Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to change, alter, amend or cancel any or all these Terms and Conditions from time to time, without any prior notice. These Terms and Conditions shall be read in conjunction with Enrich’s General Terms & Conditions, Malaysia Airlines' General Conditions of Carriage, Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Terms and Conditions.
51) The failure by Malaysia Airlines to exercise its rights will not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of the future performance of any of its rights, and the Member’s obligations with respect to such future performance shall continue in full force and effect.
52) By making a ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption, Member expressly acknowledge that the Member has read and understood the above Terms and Conditions and FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) and hereby agrees to the same.
Rules for Upgrade Travel Award
Enrich Member must first purchase an eligible revenue fare ticket on a 232 document from Malaysia Airlines or a travel agent before calling Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre to make an Upgrade Travel Award on Malaysia Airlines operated flights.
Reservations and issuing of the Upgrade Travel Award must be made through Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre or MH Ticket Offices only. Travel Agents are not allowed to issue Upgrade Travel Awards.
A qualified Economy Class ticket may be upgraded to Business Class or Business Class to Business Suite based on respective eligible fare classes.
Upgrade Travel Award must be an advanced purchase and issued on a confirmed reservation and ticketed for the Upgrade prior to check in.
Upgrade Travel Awards are only available on Malaysia Airlines operated flights using Malaysia Airlines document commencing 232.
Upgrade Travel Awards are not applicable on Malaysia Airlines flights ticketed on another airline document or using another airline document.
Enrich Points and Elite Points will be accrued based on the class of travel purchased and not the class of travel flown.
In the event of flight disruption or cancellation, the reallocation will be based on the original fare class paid class. Member will not be eligible for the higher class redeemed with Enrich Points. The redemption Upgrade Points in case of a downgrade due to flight disruption or cancellation will be refunded. Member will be eligible for Enrich Points for the original revenue fare class paid.
Upgrade Travel Awards may be used for one-way and return trip tickets.
Only two sectors and one stopover/transfer are allowed with a one-way Upgrade Travel Award. Fare rules and conditions of the purchased ticket apply to the Upgrade Travel Award.
Any additional taxes or surcharges for the redemption upgrade to be paid by cash or credit card. Wherever applicable, SST may be charged to the Enrich Member/user of the Enrich Upgrade Travel Award.
Changes will be in the redemption upgrade Points and the fare class qualification. Once a Travel Award is issued, it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved. Enrich Points are not refundable nor can taxes, fees and surcharges paid be refunded.
Free Upgrade
Member is eligible for a Free Upgrade from Economy to Business class upon purchase of a full Economy revenue fare (booking class – Y) ticket by cash/credit card on an MH (232) document.
Free Upgrade is eligible on domestic routes on Malaysia Airlines operated flights within Peninsular Malaysia or within Sabah/Sarawak and Crossing Peninsular to Sabah/Sarawak vice versa.
Free Upgrade is subject to seat availability at the airport on first come first serve basis and, on per sector basis.
Free Upgrade bookings cannot be made via Contact Center or any Malaysia Airlines ticketing offices or travel agents.
Member will be subject to any surcharge payment for the upgrade.
Member will not earn Enrich Points or Elite Points for travel on Business Class under this Free Upgrade offer.
Free Upgrade is not eligible
- For tickets issued using Government Warrant
- Award Ticket with Points
- Points + Cash Award ticket or any other payment other than cash/credit card.

The Enrich Points reflected in the Partner Award Table will depend on the currency conversion rate on that day and applicable to tickets issued outside Malaysia.
An Airline Partner Award is a Travel Award made on exactly 1 oneworld airline partner, or exactly 1 non-oneworld airline partner.
Upgrade Travel Award is not applicable on an Airline Partner Award. Refer to the Airline Partner Award Table for the Enrich Points required for your Travel Award.
For an award itinerary taken on 2 or more airlines, of which at least one is a non-oneworld airline partner, please note that a separate redemption ticket is required of non-oneworld airline partner(s). The total mileage required will be a summation of the mileage required of each ticket.
Codeshare flights by airline partners are not allowed for redemption.
One-way redemption is possible but may not be available on all Airline Partners.
Stopover and open jaw are not permitted when using an Airline Partner Award.
Where mixed class travel is concerned, the mileage required for the Airline Partner Award is priced according to the actual cabin classes taken on a prorate basis. You may wish to contact Malaysia Airlines Call Centre for the exact mileage required.
Origin or turnaround point may not be used as an intermediate point in a one way or return trip journey. Backtracking is not permitted except as required by route restrictions. Backtracking occurs when a journey does not continue in the same direction where it began. An itinerary continuing a backtracking sector not required by route restrictions may require separate tickets.
Points will not be refunded for seat downgrade or any flight cancellations by oneworld Airlines or Enrich Airline Partners for Travel Award issued on them. Member are to contact the respective Airline Partner directly for re-booking.
Travel Award tickets once issued on a specific oneworld Airline or Enrich Airline partner flights cannot be changed to another oneworld or Enrich Airline partner flight.
An Airline Partner Award must be booked through the Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre only.
- Ticket validity for Travel Awards issued on behalf of oneworld Airlines and Enrich Airline Partners is six (06) months from the date of travel.
- Extension of validity is strictly not allowed.
- Change fee of USD20 will apply for Airline Partner Award ticket as below: -
i) Fully Unutilized Ticket

- Any additional Points required for the new routing will be deducted.
- Any Points balance, is forfeited.
ii) Partly Utilised Ticket
- Only change date allowed
- USD20 fee apply.
- Travel must within the original 06-month ticket validity from 1st leg of original travel date booked.
- Rerouting - Not allowed.
iii) Airline Partner flight retiming/delay/cancellation
- Flight cancellation or retiming to an Airline Partner flight redeemed, the partner airline is reponsible to arrange for suitable alternative flights in accordance with partner agreement and in accordance to the respective Airline Partner’s local laws. Enrich Member is to communicate with the Airline Partner for the rebooking.
- Any rebooking to flight or date change request by an Enrich Member to the issuing carrier (Malaysia Airlines) due to redeemed Airline Partner flight disruption/cancellation, the request will be carried out on voluntary basis where, the rebooking will be subject to normal redemption rules and seat availability with applicable penalties and Points difference, if any, collected at time of ticket reissuance.
- Malaysia Airlines will not assume liability for any oneworld or Airline Partners flight disruption/cancellation.
- Once a Travel Award ticket is redeemed on an Airline Partner, it is considered used even if not used irrespective of the circumstances.
Enrich and Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions associated with an Airline Partner Award from time to time, including the mileage requirement published in the Airlines Partner Award Table.
Note: For Enrich Member Japan Domestic awards (entirely within Japan), each domestic sector for Travel Award shall be reserved no earlier than two months prior to the departure date of the flights

1) Redemption on Mixed oneworld Airlines
For an award itinerary taken on a combination of Malaysia Airlines and exactly 1 oneworld Airline Partner, the mileage required is priced with reference to the Malaysia Airlines And Partner Award Table on a prorate basis. Member is to contact Malaysia Airlines Call Centre for the exact mileage required.
For an award itinerary taken on 2 or more airlines, of which at least one is a non-oneworld Airline partner, please note that a separate redemption ticket is required of non-oneworld Airline partner(s).
The total mileage required will be a summation of the mileage required of each ticket. Once a Travel Award is issued, it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved.

2. Redeeming Enrich Points on Non-Flight Lifestyle Award
General Guideline
Enrich E-Gift Voucher
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher can only be redeemed online with Enrich Points at www.enrich.malaysiaairlines.com and may not be purchased with cash or credit card.
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher(s) may be used as partial/full payment for eligible products and services within the validity period determined by Enrich and Enrich Partners.
- In a case where the full value of the Enrich E-Gift Voucher is not utilized, no refund of cash or Enrich Points will be given.
- Once issued, the Enrich E-Gift Voucher is non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher is non-transferable.
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher is valid for six (6) months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. The validity of the Enrich E-Gift Voucher cannot be extended and once expired, shall be void.
- At time of use, Enrich E-Gift Voucher must be presented and the person using the Enrich E-Gift Voucher must present his/her passport or National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) and Enrich card.
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher is available in a denomination of RM50 and each Enrich E-Gift Voucher redemption requires 5,000 Enrich Points. The Enrich E-Gift Voucher(s) is valid for Malaysia Airlines inflight purchases and/or any campaign Malaysia Airlines launched with its Partner only. The E-Gift Voucher is not valid to be redeemed for products and services by oneworld and Enrich Airline Partners.
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher(s) may be used as partial/full payment for Shopping with Enrich Partners during special promotions.
- Purchases on items using the Enrich E-Gift Voucher(s) are not eligible to earn Enrich Points.
- Physical/Hard copy Enrich RM50 Voucher is no longer available effective 18 August 2021.

- This Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher is valid for pre-flight departure lounge access only and to be used on a pure Malaysia Airlines operated flights or charter flights booked on MH flight number and ticketed on Malaysia Airlines (232) document on that day only.
- This Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher is not valid on Malaysia Airlines codeshare and marketed flights.
- This Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher is not valid at Third Party Lounges (lounges not operated by Malaysia Airlines) and oneworld lounges.
- The Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher is not valid if the travel is on oneworld, partner airline, codeshare and any marketed flights.
- Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher(s) is valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of issue. The validity of the Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher (s) cannot be extended and once expired, shall be void.
- Member must first swipe to redeem and present the Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher to the Golden Lounge staff for validation. Once redeemed, it is deemed as used. Accidental swiping or activation of the Enrich E-Golden Lounge Access Voucher (s) will not be reinstated and will be considered as used.
3. Redeeming for Enrich Hotels
- Enrich Member can redeem Enrich Points for hotel stays via the Enrich Hotels booking platform at https://www.enrichhotels.com/en/home/en/
- Enrich Member are to login to their Enrich account to redeem their Enrich Points for eligible hotel stays.
- The rates quoted for each booking are dynamic and are subject to change. There are no fixed rates.
- Enrich Points will be deducted from only one Enrich membership account for the hotel redemption per transaction.
- Enrich Member can redeem for family or friends (3rd party) using their Points, by entering the name of the person using the hotel accommodation when redeeming.
- Enrich Points will be instantly deducted from the Enrich Member’s Account upon successful transaction.
- Once redeemed for the hotel stay, no date change is allowed.
- Enrich Points from one Enrich account cannot be combined with another Enrich account to redeem for this hotel stay.
- Once redeemed, Enrich Points are non-refundable including bookings paid for with Enrich Points or a combination of Enrich Points plus credit/debit card under any circumstances. Redemption is considered utilized even if not utilized.
4. Redeeming for Temptations
- Enrich Member may redeem Enrich Points for Temptations product online at temptations.malaysiaairlines.com
- The minimum Enrich Points required to redeem Temptations’ product online is 2,000 Enrich Points.
- Redemption for Temptations Online is available in full Enrich Points or Points & Credit Card. The shipping fee and taxes are not included and will be charged separately.
- The Enrich E-Gift Voucher is not applicable for purchases on the Temptations website.
- Redemption for Temptations Online items is subject to availability. If the preferred item(s) is not available, Member will need to redeem any other available items. No Points will be refunded if the preferred item is not available.
- Enrich Points cannot be used to offset any delivery charges, prevailing taxes, customs/import duties and postal clearance, which are applicable for home delivery, and these vary between countries. Any prevailing taxes, customs/import duties and postal clearance, if applicable, will be borne by Member and paid directly to the respective custom and/or courier upon arrival of items in the country.
- All deliveries will be deemed received and accepted by the Member or on Member’s behalf upon there being an acknowledgment of receipt by any person/persons receiving at the address as provided by Member upon delivery and acknowledgment of receipt of the said item(s).

Enrich Refund for Malaysia Airlines (Effective 1 November 2023)
- Enrich Points redeemed are refundable for fully unutilised Dynamic Redemption tickets redeemed with Full Enrich Points or Enrich Points + Cash on pure Malaysia Airlines operated flight(s), for travels booked and ticketed from 1 November 2023, subject to refund fare rules.
- Enrich Refund is not applicable to partly utilised Dynamic Redemption tickets.
- Any refund request for a fully unutilised redemption ticket must be submitted within twelve (12) months from the original date of the ticket redeemed.
- Any refund request received for a fully unutilised Dynamic redemption ticket more than twelve (12) months will not be allowed. The entire redemption ticket including airport taxes/surcharges will be forfeited.
- The eligible Travel Award refund for Malaysia Airlines (for flights from and within Malaysia only) will apply as follows: -
- Enrich Points redeemed for Enrich Saver and Enrich Upgrade are non-refundable or exchangeable to other Upgrade product offers e.g., MHupgrade, Last-Minute Upgrade, Free Upgrade (where applicable) or any other form of upgrade.
- If the Enrich Member does not utilise the Enrich Upgrade for a Travel Award confirmed, the Enrich Points are non-refundable and forfeited including airport taxes/surcharges.
- If the Enrich Member changes the date of travel to the same destination as originally ticketed on a revenue ticket purchased, the Enrich Upgrade points redeemed may be transferred to the new date of travel. In case of a voluntary reroute to other destinations, the Enrich Points cannot be carried forward and will be forfeited.
- Enrich Points redeemed for Enrich Upgrade will be forfeited if Enrich Member decides to cancel their revenue ticket purchased voluntarily where, a refund to the revenue ticket may be applicable. Enrich Points redeemed for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ are non-refundable and forfeited including airport taxes/surcharges.
- For refundable fully unutilised Dynamic Redemption tickets, only active and valid Enrich Points redeemed will be refunded.
- Any expired Enrich Points redeemed will not be refunded but will be returned to the respective expiry bucket. Expired Enrich Points that may be eligible for extension, Enrich Member may reactivate or extend the expired Enrich Points at a cost imposed. Enrich Member may refer to the Enrich Points extension at https://enrich.malaysiaairlines.com/enrich/about-enrich/terms-conditions.html
- In the event of a flight cancellation or flight rescheduling:
- Malaysia Airlines will reallocate Enrich Member or passengers in the same booking on to another Malaysia Airlines flight for whatever reason(s) other than for reasons attributable to Enrich Member’s fault, actions or omissions, any ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption made in relation to the original booking may at the discretion of Malaysia Airlines, be transferred to the new flight(s) on Malaysia Airlines, subject to availability of seats in the upgraded class.
- If the Enrich Member’s booking is transferred to a flight operated by an airline other than Malaysia Airlines, the rebooking will be on the original revenue economy class ticket purchased and not in the higher class redeemed.
- The Enrich Points for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ will not be carried forward to the new flight operated by an airline other than Malaysia Airlines and may be refunded upon verification of the reallocation affected by the cancellation to the Malaysia Airlines original flight redeemed with ‘Enrich Upgrade’.
- Malaysia Airlines will reallocate Enrich Member or passengers in the same booking on to another Malaysia Airlines flight for whatever reason(s) other than for reasons attributable to Enrich Member’s fault, actions or omissions, any ‘Enrich Upgrade’ redemption made in relation to the original booking may at the discretion of Malaysia Airlines, be transferred to the new flight(s) on Malaysia Airlines, subject to availability of seats in the upgraded class.
- Enrich Member is entitled to a refund for the ‘Enrich Upgrade’ under the following conditions:
- Travel Award ticket is non-refundable and forfeited in case of no-show.
- Enrich and Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions associated with a Malaysia Airlines Travel Award from time to time, including the Enrich Points requirement.
DYNAMIC REDEMPTION FULLY UNUTILISED TICKET
DYNAMIC REDEMPTION PARTIALLY UTILISED TICKET
• The flight for which the Enrich Member redeemed using Enrich Upgrade was cancelled.
• The flight for which Enrich Member’s Enrich Upgrade redemption was cancelled, and Malaysia Airlines re-accommodates the Enrich Member on another flight which may or may not be operated by Malaysia Airlines and Enrich Member is seated in the class of service of the Enrich Member’s original booking.No refund will be issued in the case of a change to a substitute aircraft to operate a flight where the Enrich Upgrade is still available to Enrich Member on that substitute aircraft.
Enrich Refund for oneworld Member Airlines and Partner Airlines Redemption Ticket
1. Enrich Points are refundable for full unutilised tickets redeemed on oneworld member airline(s) and partner airlines, subject to seat cancellation and refund processing fees.
2. Enrich Points refund is not applicable to partly utilised oneworld member airlines and partner airlines redemption tickets.
3. Refund is permitted up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to flight departure.
4. Enrich Member is required to cancel the booking forty-eight (48) hours before flight departure to be eligible for refund.
5. Travel Award ticket is non-refundable and forfeited if the request is made within 48 hours prior to flight departure.
6. Any refund request for a full unutlised redemption ticket must be submitted within twelve (12) months from the original date of the ticket redeemed.
7. Any refund request received for a full unutilised redemption ticket more than twelve (12) months will not be allowed. The entire redemption ticket including airport taxes/surcharges will be forfeited.
8. Partly utilised oneworld member or partner airlines redemption tickets are not refundable.
9. The eligible Travel Award refund for oneworld member airlines and partner airlines will apply as follows: -

1) Earning Elite Tier Status
- Elite Tier Status will be awarded to an Enrich Member who qualifies for such status under guidelines set by Enrich.
Elite Tier Qualification Requirements
- Elite Points is calculated based on Zone (flight sector distance in miles i.e., Ticketed Point Mileage-TPM) and the Cabin class of travel (Business Suite, Business or Economy) on eligible flights.

- Enrich Enrich Member will earn Elite Points on Malaysia Airlines flights, MASwings flights, oneworld Alliance flights (including MH9000 codeshare flights), Firefly flights, Malaysia Airlines marketed/Firefly operated (MH4000/MH5000 codeshare flights).
- Effective 01 August 2023, Enrich Member will earn 1 TEP for a flown sector irrespective of the cabin class of travel for the ‘Cash’ portion of a Enrich Points + Cash Award ticket.
- Enrich Member will not earn Elite Points for MH4000 and other MH5000 codeshare flight series.
- The membership term of an Elite Tier Status is the year in which the Enrich Member qualifies plus the period between 1 January to 31 December of the following year.
- Elite Points are not accumulative. Once Enrich Member achieves an Elite Tier Status, they may re-qualify for such status, or a higher status, each year. Failure to re-qualify for Elite Tier Status each year will result in the Enrich Member being reclassified to the next lower Membership Tier.
2) Platinum Enrich Points
- Platinum Enrich Points are points that are earned by Enrich Platinum Enrich Members during their Platinum tenureship/membership.
- Platinum Enrich Points do not have an expiry date.
- Enrich Points earned only during Platinum tier status will not expire even if the Enrich Member is reclassified to a lower tier status.
- Once a Platinum Enrich member is reclassified to a lower tier eg. Enrich Gold, any new Enrich Points earned from Enrich Gold tier status onwards ares valid for three (03) years and will expire according to the respective months earned, in the third year.
3) Complimentary Platinum Companion Card
The best things in life are meant to be shared. In recognition of your continued support for us, we will extend a complimentary Enrich Platinum membership to your companion, upon request.
Please complete and submit the Platinum Companion Nomination Form. Please allow up to two (02) weeks for us to process this application.
- The Complimentary Platinum Companion Card is extended to only one (01) Enrich Member above 12 years of age with good standing of the Enrich Programme and nominated by the Principal Platinum member.
- Supporting documents that are required for verification:
i. A clear copy of NIRC (Malaysian) or Passport (non-Malaysian).
- Nominated Platinum Companion who is not an Enrich Member must enroll as an Enrich Member before the upgrade to Platinum tier.
- The pooling of Enrich Points into one (01) Enrich account is not available under Platinum Companion Card relationship. Enrich Points may only be earned and credited into the respective individual Enrich account whose name the Enrich account is registered to.
- New Platinum Companion nomination must be submitted online by the Principal Platinum Member. The application may be rejected if it does not meet the criteria set.
- Once nominated, change of companion is not allowed except in the case of death of the nominated Platinum Companion with supporting documents required for verification.
- Both Principal and Companion accounts will be aligned and therefore the status and year/expiry date of the Platinum Companion Card shall be the same as the Principal Platinum Member.
- If Principal account is re-classified to a lower tier, the Platinum Companion account holder will be reinstated to the original earned tier (before being nominated as a Platinum Companion) held based on actual accumulated Elite Points on current calendar year. Platinum Companion account holder will not follow the Principal re-classified tier status.
- The nominated Platinum Companion will only be entitled to all Platinum benefits and privileges as outlined in the Welcome Pack and Enrich website.
4) Elite Tier Purchase
- Elite Tier Purchase is available for eligible Standard Tiers only.
- Member with other than Standard Tier such as Complimentary Tier and Spouse Tiers are not eligible for Elite Tier Purchase.
- Eligible Enrich Member must be in good standing of the Enrich Programme to participate in Elite Tier Purchase.
- Elite Tier Purchase is available via Enrich Online self-service portal at enrich.malaysiaairlines.com. This service is not available at Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre, Ticket Offices or via email.
- Enrich Members must meet a minimum requirement to be eligible to purchase Elite Points.
- Elite Points may be purchased at a rate determined by the Enrich Membership Tier at the time of making such purchase. The transaction will by default be processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
- Elite Points purchased is only valid for current qualifying year and cannot be carried forward to the next qualifying year.
- Elite Points Purchase transactions are final and non-refundable.
- Elite Points purchase is valid for the next higher tier only. Elite Points purchase for the highest tier is not allowed.
- Malaysia Airlines reserve the right at our sole discretion to review, cancel and reverse any transaction for any reason including but not limited to issues which have been identified by our credit and fraud control department. Malaysia Airlines also reserve the right to change, modify, suspend or discontinue the Elite Tier Purchase or any part thereof with or without notice.
- Malaysia Airlines may change the programme rules or benefits from time to time with or without prior notice, even though such changes may affect the number of Enrich Points that may be accrued, or the value of Enrich Points already accumulated.
- Malaysia Airlines has the right at any time, without limitation, to initiate any changes in the participating organisations, changes impacting the rules for earning or redeeming Enrich Points, the award structure, the availability of awards, the rules for use of awards, the rules of qualification for different Membership Tiers and the features for special offers.
- The ability to accrue Enrich Points on participating carriers is contingent upon that carrier's continued participation in the Enrich programme.
- Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to terminate the programme, or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice, even though such termination may affect the right to accrue Enrich Points or redemption of awards.
- Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to reverse or remove any Enrich Points credited to a Member incorrectly, wrongfully, or not in accordance with, or in breach of, the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Malaysia Airlines may refuse transportation if the applicable Points are not paid for Travel Award ticket or Redemption Upgrade ticket. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to recover any short number of Points collected for a Travel Award ticket or Redemption Upgrade ticket before start of journey or after completion of journey.
- The sale or barter of Enrich Points, Enrich Awards or other benefits is prohibited and will result in the said items being forfeited or cancelled. In addition, the Enrich Member’s Account may be suspended or closed and all Enrich Points and/or Elite Points accrued therein forfeited. Violators may be liable for damages, litigation and transaction costs.
- Without prejudice to or limiting any of its rights, Malaysia Airlines may with or without notice and for any reasons withdraw, suspend, cancel and/or terminate any membership and/or the Enrich card and/or any of the benefits and services thereby offered including but not limited to the forfeiture and cancellation of all accrued Enrich Points and/or Elite Points and unused Enrich Awards, upon the occurrence of any or more of the following events: -
1) Accrual or redemption of Enrich Points fraudulently;
2) Using temporary or disposable email addresses in the Enrich accounts
3) Engagement in any fraudulent activities under the programme;
4) The death or declaration of bankruptcy of an Enrich Member;
5) Misuse or abuse of Enrich Awards;
6) Misrepresentation at any time of any information in any manner whatsoever;
7) Misconduct by an Enrich Member including any displays of conduct deemed inappropriate by Malaysia Airlines in any dealings with Malaysia Airlines including with its employees, and agents or at any airline’s premises or at any airport. Misconduct includes but is not limited to verbal or physical abuse of airline employees (s) or airline agent (s) or passenger(s), destruction or damage to property on any aircraft or at airline premises, or at any airport;
8) Failure to follow any programme policies and procedures;
9) Failure to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions or the terms and conditions of any Enrich Partner, oneworld Airlines, Airline Partner and Non-Airline Partner;
10) Failure to comply with Malaysia Airlines’ General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage and any other applicable rules and regulations;
- The Enrich Member may also be held liable for all damages, litigation and transaction costs, including but not limited to Enrich Points previously redeemed. Notwithstanding the listing of sub-paragraphs (i) until (ix) of Clause 7 above which are non-exhaustive, Malaysia Airlines shall be under no obligation to disclose or assign any reasons for the withdrawal, suspension, cancel and termination.
- Enrich Member whose accounts have been terminated or cancelled for any reason may not reopen a new Account.
- Enrich Member must report any suspected unauthorised Activity from their account immediately. Failure to do so may result in the Enrich Member being held liable for the activity in question.
- Any taxes (including but not limited to Service Tax), levies or duties incurred in connection with the accrual of Enrich Points and use of Enrich Awards or programme benefits by an Enrich Member shall be the responsibility of and shall be borne by the Enrich Member or user of the Enrich Award or benefit, as the case may require.
- If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions become invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability and will not affect the other provisions.
- Failure by Malaysia Airlines to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of its right to enforce the breach of such provision or any other provision in these Terms and Conditions or as a waiver of any continuing, succeeding or subsequent breach of any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
- It is the responsibility of the Enrich Member to keep themselves informed and updated on the rules of Enrich. Continued use of the programme by the Enrich Member will be deemed as acceptance of the current rules.
- Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to interpret and apply the terms and conditions of the Enrich programme as it sees fit. All such determinations by Malaysia Airlines shall be final and conclusive in each case.
- In accepting membership in Enrich, the said Enrich Member agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the Enrich programme in its entirety. The Enrich membership card is the property of Enrich and must be forfeited upon request by Malaysia Airlines.
- All information is correct at the time of publication and is subject to change without prior notice.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
- Malaysia Airlines shall ensure that the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in the Enrich Enrolment Form (EEF) is consistent with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (‘PDPA’).
- It is acknowledged that personal data collected and processed in this EEF is obtained voluntarily and with your consent.
- Malaysia Airlines shall ensure that under no circumstances is the collected data, to be disclosed or sold or passed on to third-parties for any reason.
- However, Malaysia Airlines may disclose the data collected for a purpose directly related to the purpose it was disclosed at the time of collection to a third party such as other Malaysia Airlines affiliates and subsidiaries or in circumstances specified in the Malaysia Airlines Personal Data Privacy Policy as published at Malaysia Airlines website.
- Malaysia Airlines should not be held liable for any damage caused as a result of the collection, use, disclosure, loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access, alteration or destruction of your personal data unless the actions of Malaysia Airline were deliberate or grossly negligent.

Enrich and the group of companies under Malaysia Aviation Group is committed to the protection of your Personal Data and takes the matter of protecting your privacy as high priority.

What is Personal Data?

How do we collect your Personal Data?
We may collect and receive Personal Data directly from you or from your authorised representatives (i.e. persons whom you have authorised, persons who have been validly identified as being you or your authorised representative pursuant to our security procedures), from third parties (e.g., travel agent or service providers) or the Personal Data of your relatives or principal where you disclose same on their behalf, including when you:
a) Use any of our services, including when you travel with us or use airports where we operate or any facilities within those airports that we operate, such as our lounge facilities;
b) Use or access our Website or Mobile Apps, particularly when completing the "passenger details" section during the course of a booking, even if you do not complete the booking;
c) Communicate with us such as by email, telephone, in writing or through our customer services pages or social media platforms; or
d) Register, create or modify an online or in-app account with us, including your Enrich membership.
We may receive your Personal Data from other entities within our group of companies under Malaysia Aviation Group.
We may also collect your Personal Data from publicly available sources through our Website or Mobile Apps and other channels including our ticketing counters and airport operations and third party providers or our subcontractors where you have consented to providing your Personal Data to them or where we subcontract them to assist us in providing services to you (e.g. wheelchair assistance, transfers, special meals).
Where another person makes reservations on your behalf, you undertake and will ensure that you have authorized the disclosure of your Personal Data and are aware of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Where you are booking on behalf of another person, you represent and warrant that you have the consent of those persons to provide their Personal Data. In addition, where you are booking on behalf of children (those below 18 of age), please ensure that you are over 18 and have appropriate authority.
Where you disclose Personal Data on behalf of another person, you undertake and will ensure that the individual whose Personal Data is supplied to Malaysia Airlines Berhad has authorized the disclosure, is informed of and consents to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice. Where the disclosure if in respect of a child’s Personal Data, you should do as only as the parent or legal guardian of that child and enter into relevant contracts on behalf of that child.
What do we use your Personal Data for?
We may use your Personal Data for the following purposes:
a) To enable us to provide our services and perform our obligations to you;
b) To facilitate your travel (e.g., making a booking) and freight arrangements;
c) To verify identity of passengers and perform luggage check-ins;
d) To provide flight alert messages;
e) To facilitate internet check-in;
f) To process any commercial transaction (e.g. In-flight sales);
g) To maintain your Enrich loyalty account, facilitate your participation in Enrich loyalty programme or third parties’ loyalty programmes which have partnership with us;
h) To enable experience using your Enrich loyalty account or any other loyalty programme under Malaysia Aviation Group;
i) To protect the safety and well-being of yourself and/or other customers;
j) To investigate and respond to claims and inquiries from you;
k) To remind you to complete your booking and/or offer our assistance (in case, for instance, failure to complete due to technical difficulties);
l) To provide in-flight catering and other services that best meet your preferences and needs;
m) For financial purposes such as credit or other payment card verification, accounting, billing and audit; and / or
n) For business development purposes such as statistical, research and marketing analysis, systems testing, maintenance and development, quality assurance, customer surveys, customer relations to advise on alterations to flights or to help us in any future dealings with you, for example by identifying your requirements and preference;
o) To customise the content in our website or mobile application according to your needs, preferences and personality;
p) To share your Personal Data with our selected partners or/and our group of companies within Malaysia Aviation Group to enable us and/or our partners to personalise the services or products offered to you;
q) To comply with any legal or regulatory requirements;
r) To communicate and facilitate promotions, offers, product, services and information on products and activities, offers to upgrade or other notifications in relation to your booking;
s) To allow you to participate in our programmes or features via our website or/and mobile application when you opt to do so; and/or
t) To operate our competitions, promotions, programmes and events via our newsletters and other communications offered by Malaysia Airlines, any group of companies under Malaysia Aviation Group or our selected business partners.
Some of the Personal Data processing above may be an optional service. You may choose not to receive these emails at any time by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each such email or email to [email protected] to request for removal of subscription notification. Kindly note we may not be able to optimise your user experience when using our products or services by doing so.
What are our legal bases for processing your Personal Data?
There are a number of different ways that we are lawfully able to process your Personal Data. We have set these out below.
Where using your Personal Data is necessary for us to carry out our obligations under our contract with you.
We are allowed to use your Personal Data when it is necessary to do so for the performance of our contract with you.
For example, we need to collect your contact details in order to be able to book your flight or provide you with any additional services you have requested.
Where processing is necessary for us to carry out our legal obligations.
As well as our obligations to you under any contract, we also have other legal obligations that we need to comply with and we are allowed to use your Personal Data when we need to in order to comply with those other legal obligations.
For example, we are required to transfer certain Personal Data to government authorities for anti-terrorism purposes.
Where using your data is in our legitimate interests
We are allowed to use your Personal Data where it is in our interests to do so, and those interests aren't outweighed by any potential prejudice to you. We believe that our use of your Personal Data is within a number of our legitimate interests, including but not limited to:
- To enables us to provide our services to our customers;
- To helps us satisfy our legal obligations (for example, in relation to anti-terrorism);
- To helps us understand our customers better and provide better, more relevant services to them; and
- To helps us keep our systems and physical premises secure and prevent unauthorized access or cyberattacks.
We don't think that any of the activities set out in this Privacy Policy will prejudice you in any way. However, you do have the right to object to us processing your Personal Data on this basis. We have set out details regarding how you can go about doing this above.
Where you give us your consent to use your Personal Data
We are allowed to use your data where you have specifically consented. In order for your consent to be valid:
- It has to be given freely, without us putting you under any type of pressure;
- You have to know what you are consenting to – so we'll make sure we give you enough information;

Right to object

Right to withdraw consent

Data Subject Access Requests
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you at any time, and request us to modify, update or delete such information. If we provide you with access to the information, we hold about you, we will not charge you for this unless permitted by law. If you request further copies of this information from us, we may charge you a reasonable administrative cost. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we may refuse your request. If we refuse your request, we will always tell you the reasons for doing so.
Right to erasure
You have the right to request that we "erase" your Personal Data in certain circumstances. Normally, this right exists where:
- The data are no longer necessary;
- You have withdrawn your consent to us using your data, and there is no other valid reason for us to continue;
- The data has been processed unlawfully;
- It is necessary for the data to be erased in order for us to comply with our obligations under law; or
- You object to the processing and we are unable to demonstrate overriding legitimate grounds for our continued processing.
We would only be entitled to refuse to comply with your request for erasure in limited circumstances and we will always tell you our reason for doing so.
When complying with a valid request for the erasure of data we will take all reasonably practicable steps to delete the relevant data.
Right to restrict processing
You have the right to request that we restrict our processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances, for example if you dispute the accuracy of the Personal Data that we hold about you or you object to our processing of your Personal Data for our legitimate interests. If we have shared your Personal Data with third parties, we will notify them about the restricted processing unless this is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. We will, of course, notify you before lifting any restriction on processing your Personal Data.
Right to rectification
You have the right to request that we rectify any inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data that we hold about you. If we have shared this Personal Data with third parties, we will notify them about the rectification unless this is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You may also request details of the third parties that we have disclosed the inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data to. Where we think that it is reasonable for us not to comply with your request, we will explain our reasons for this decision.
In particular, you may update or make amendments to your Personal Data as below:
a) for online registered customers, you may login to your online account and update your Personal Data; or
b) for every other customer, you may email your request to [email protected].
Right of data portability
If you wish, you have the right to transfer your Personal Data between service providers. In effect, this means that you are able to transfer the details we hold on you to another third party. To allow you to do so, we will provide you with your data in a commonly used machine-readable format so that you can transfer the data. Alternatively, we may directly transfer the data for you.
Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with our regulator, who is the Commissioner of Personal Data Protection in Malaysia. In Europe, you may access to the privacy regulators for each Member State are listed (along with contact details) by clicking the link.
To whom do we disclose your Personal Data?
We will not trade or sell your Personal Data to third parties. Your Personal Data shall only be disclosed or transferred to the following third parties appointed or authorised by the Company, who may be located within or outside Malaysia:
a) Our travel and freight service providers or travel-related businesses;
b) Our partner airlines and other carriers;
c) Airport authorities;
d) Our other affiliates and service partners where it is necessary to facilitate your travel;
e) Our group of companies within Malaysia Aviation Group to provide services, products or personalised offers or/and messages;
f) Credit card verification providers,
g) IT service providers;
h) Data analytics including search engine providers and/or marketing agency which assist us to improve and optimise your experience in using our website and mobile application;
i) Advertisers and advertising networks which require certain data to offer relevant adverts to you and/or other selected partners to provide better customised offers, promotions, or/and personalised messages to you or others;
j) Other third parties in order to process your commercial transactions;
k) Participating merchants and partners of our Enrich loyalty programme or/and any other programmes within Malaysia Aviation Group offering products and services by using or through our website or mobile application hosted by us;
l) Legal bodies as permitted or required by law such as in compliance with a warrant or subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction; and/or
m) Customs, immigration or other regulatory authorities applicable to you;
n) If necessary, prevent passengers who have been issued notices from flying or using any of the services under Malaysia Aviation Group; and/or
o) Safety and security personnel.
In addition to the above, your Personal Data may also be disclosed or transferred to any of the Company’s actual and potential assignee, transferee or acquirer (within or outside Malaysia) (including our affiliates and subsidiaries) of our business, assets or group companies, or in connection with any corporate restructuring or exercise including the restructuring to transfer the business, assets and/or liabilities.
We shall take reasonable and practical steps in accordance with the law and acceptable industry standards to ensure that their employees, officers, agents, consultants, contractors and such other third parties mentioned above who are involved in the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data will observe and adhere to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Where do we store your Personal Data?
We will store your Personal Data in the country in which we are based (i.e. Malaysia). As discussed above, we may also disclose your Personal Data to our group companies and their service providers located in Malaysia and elsewhere, and to employees operating outside of the EEA who work for us or for one of our group companies or their respective service providers.
We want to make sure that your Personal Data is stored and transferred in a way which is secure.
We will therefore only transfer data outside of the EEA where it is compliant with data protection legislation and the means of transfer provides adequate safeguards in relation to your data. For example, this could be:
- By way of an intra-group agreement between MAB entities, incorporating the current standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission for the transfer of Personal Data by controllers in the EEA to controllers and processors in jurisdictions without adequate data protection laws;
- By way of a data transfer agreement with a third party, incorporating the current standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission for the transfer of Personal Data by controllers in the EEA to controllers and processors in jurisdictions without adequate data protection laws; or
- By transferring your data to an entity which has signed up to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework for the transfer of Personal Data from entities in the EU to entities in the United States of America or any equivalent agreement in respect of other jurisdictions; or
- By transferring your data to a country where there has been a finding of adequacy by the European Commission in respect of that country's levels of data protection via its legislation; or
- Where it is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract between ourselves and a third party and the transfer is in your interests for the purposes of that contract; or

Where we transfer your Personal Data outside the EEA and where the country or territory in question does not maintain adequate data protection standards, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
How do we keep your Personal Data secure?
We will take all reasonable precautions necessary to protect your Personal Data from misuse, interference and loss; and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. In addition, the Company will secure your data in following ways:
a) Register all those who are allowed access;
b) Control and limit access based on necessity;
c) Maintain proper record of access and transfer of Personal Data;
d) Ensure all employees of the Company protect confidentiality;
e) Conduct awareness programmes to all employees on responsibility to protect Personal Data;
f) Establish physical security procedures;
g) Bind third parties involved in processing of Personal Data; and
h) Do not use removable device and cloud computing service to transfer or store Personal Data unless with written consent from top management of the Company.
For how long do we retain your Personal Data?
We will not retain your Personal Data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they are collected. However, relevant Personal Data may be retained subject to the conditions below:
a) As and when required under legislation;
b) Where legal actions have arisen and are pending; or
c) Commercial/operational purposes of Malaysia Airlines.
We shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that all Personal Data is destroyed or permanently deleted when no longer required and prepare disposal schedule for inactive data within 24 months period.
