Malaysia Airlines is the national carrier of Malaysia, offering the best way to fly to, from and around Malaysia. Enrich Points earned on Malaysia Airlines will be based on your tier and amount spent on the ticket (base fare and carrier-related charges). For example, if you are Blue member and you spend RM100, you will earn 150 Enrich Points.
Enrich Points earning based on distance in miles (Ticketed Point Mileage, TPM) will apply for travel on:
- MH3000, MH4000, MH5000 and MH 9000 series codeshare flights marketed by Malaysia Airlines and operated by other airlines (except flights marketed by Malaysia Airlines and operated by Firefly)
- Connecting flights between Malaysia Airlines with oneworld member airlines
- Connecting flights between Malaysia Airlines with non-oneworld Partner Airlines

Your Elite Points earned will be based on your travel destination that falls into the respective Zones and cabin class of travel.
Elite points will not apply to non-oneworld partner airline, MH4000 series and all MH5000 flights except for MH4000/MH5000 MH*/FY codeshare flights.
Flights and Booking Class that are not eligible to earn Enrich Points will not earn Elite Points.
Earn Enrich Points on Eligible Ancillary Products
From 15 October 2026, earn Enrich Points when you purchase selected Malaysia Airlines ancillary products such as seat selection, extra baggage and cabin upgrades.
Eligible Ancillary Products
Earn Enrich Points on the following eligible ancillary products purchased using cash/card.
Earning Rate
Enrich Points are awarded based on the eligible amount paid in cash/card for the ancillary product, according to your Enrich tier.
The applicable earning rate is based on your Enrich tier at the time of travel.
Cabin Upgrade
Upgrade your journey and earn more. When you purchase an eligible MHupgrade or Last Minute Upgrade using cash/card, you can earn additional Enrich Points and additional Elite Points from the upgrade.

Missing Points for Ancillary Purchases
Purchased an eligible ancillary product but did not receive your Points?
You can submit a Missing Points claim for eligible ancillary purchases through the Enrich Online Form on AskMH.
Before submitting your claim, please ensure that:
✓ Your Enrich membership number was associated with your booking.
✓ The ancillary product is included in the list of eligible products.
✓ The ancillary was paid using an eligible cash/card payment.
✓ The ancillary and associated flight have been utilised/flown.
✓ Your transaction is eligible for accrual for flights flown from 15 October 2026 onwards.
Terms & Conditions Note
Enrich Points and Elite Points are awarded only for eligible transactions and are subject to the Enrich Programme Terms and Conditions. Ancillary products, eligibility and earning arrangements may be amended from time to time.
Effective 1 October 2026, Enrich members may earn Enrich Points and/or Elite Points on selected Malaysia Airlines upgrade and ancillary products, subject to the eligibility criteria set out below.

1. General Eligibility
1.1. This benefit is effective for qualifying purchases made from 1 October 2026 onwards.
1.2. Enrich Points and Elite Points will only be awarded for eligible upgrade and ancillary products as specified in these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. The number of Enrich Points and/or Elite Points awarded is subject to the applicable Enrich accrual rules and the qualifying product purchased.
1.4. Products purchased using Enrich Points are not eligible to earn additional Enrich Points or Elite Points unless otherwise expressly stated.

Elite Points for Cabin Upgrades
For eligible paid cabin upgrades, members will receive the additional Elite Points difference between the upgraded cabin and the original paid cabin, on top of the Elite Points already earned for the original ticket.
For example, where an eligible member originally earns Elite Points based on Economy Class and subsequently purchases an eligible upgrade to Business Class, the additional Elite Points awarded will be based on the difference between the applicable Business Class and Economy Class Elite Points entitlement.
No additional Elite Points will be awarded for upgrades purchased or redeemed using Enrich Points.

3. Eligible Ancillary Products
The following ancillary products are eligible to earn Enrich Points from 1 October 2026. Elite Points are not awarded for these ancillary purchases.

4. Ancillary Products Not Eligible for Accrual
The following products are not eligible to earn Enrich Points or Elite Points:

Purchasing Lounge Access or Insurance as a standalone ancillary product will therefore not result in any Enrich Points or Elite Points being awarded.
5. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
5.1. Involuntary Changes or Cancellations – Where an eligible ancillary product has been redeemed using Enrich Points and an involuntary change or cancellation occurs, the redeemed Enrich Points will be refundable in accordance with the applicable conditions.
5.2. Voluntary Changes or Cancellations – Voluntary changes or cancellations are subject to the applicable Terms and Conditions of the respective ancillary product.
Where the ancillary product is:
- Refundable: the Enrich Points redeemed for the product will be refunded, subject to the applicable product Terms and Conditions.
- Non-refundable: the Enrich Points redeemed for the product will not be refunded.
5.3. Last Minute Upgrade Tax Difference – In all applicable scenarios, any tax difference collected as a result of a Last Minute Upgrade purchase is refundable, subject to the applicable refund process.
6. Other Conditions
6.1. Enrich Points and Elite Points are awarded only in accordance with the applicable Enrich accrual rules and product eligibility requirements.
6.2. Where an ancillary or upgrade product is not identified as eligible under these Terms and Conditions, no Enrich Points or Elite Points will be awarded unless otherwise communicated by Malaysia Airlines or Enrich.
6.3. Enrich reserves the right to verify qualifying transactions and make adjustments to Enrich Points or Elite Points credited where necessary.
6.4. These Terms and Conditions should be read together with the applicable Enrich Programme Terms and Conditions, Malaysia Airlines Conditions of Carriage and the Terms and Conditions applicable to the respective upgrade or ancillary product.
6.5. Enrich and Malaysia Airlines reserve the right to amend the eligibility criteria, qualifying products and applicable Enrich Points or Elite Points accrual rules from time to time in accordance with the applicable programme Terms and Conditions.
